Rotem to scrap bid for DHI
Rotem Company, Hyundai Automotive Group's rolling stock unit, said yesterday
it will scrap its plan to bid for Daewoo Heavy Industries & Machinery Ltd.,
because of unwanted aerospace company shares attached to the sale of the
state-run company.
The Hyundai affiliate, also Korea's major military vehicle producer, has been
seeking to acquire the defense segment of Daewoo Heavy. But the company is |
