here are my two cents, it may be incomplete.
there are two ways to get near field optics as far as I know
the first one is use hemispherical lens (SIL), the light is focused by a
high NA microscope objective lens onto the bottom of the SIL. the medium is
then place extreemly close to the SIL (<100nm). then u will observe near
field effect
the other one is use HF to etch the tip of a fiber. and place this fiber tip
extremely close to the medium.

我做光散射的,好奇在密堆积下颗粒间的近场散射是什么样子,不过还没条件做测量,
只是想将来争取做点东西。

the examples I gave is all about imaging.
so I am not familiar with scattering at all sorry

近场远场没啥本质区别,只是evanescent wave还没衰减而已
