l***2 发帖数: 486 | 1 Currently daughter in Waha Montessori, bilingual program, very satisfied.
but planning to switch to English preschool after current school year.
already registered preschool programs for KinderCare and Appleseed in
Sunnyvale, $250 ($150 registration, $100 enrollment) and $235 respectively.
enrollment: end of June.
Any comments/recommendations between these two preschools?
The tuition of kindercare is $311 weekly, including breakfast and lunch,
closes at 6:30pm. over 40 years experience of structuring the programs,
teachers around 8-10 years teaching experience. around 7mins drive from
home. Facility and activities seem to be better and more than at Appleseed,
but maybe facility is a little on the old side.
could transfer registration to Santa Clara branch which is around 10mins
drive from home, enrollment date would be expected around October-November.
Heard the santa clara branch is very good (not sure).
The tuition of Appleseed is around $1200 monthly, but no breakfast or lunch,
lunch at school is $6.15/day, closes at 6pm. registered at the new 800
building at Dunford site. teachers are relatively less experienced, around 3
years teaching experience. around 5mins drive from home.
could transfer to 500 building, but the enrollment date would be expected
around September or October. mainly Asian children. even the English program
classrooms have one English teacher and one Chinese teacher (instructions
in English, not sure of the pronunciation).
Any comments/recommendations between these two preschools?
also considering Stratford, but has concern about the diversity there. heard
that around 95% is Indian children....
Thank you very much! |
