Event接近最后的一手牌 （hand 112），Carroll raises to 485,000 with an open
ended straigh t draw。如果是新手做这种oversize raise，我会fold；如果是

Also, overbet or not depends on your opponent.
For my experience, in mediam cash game , overbet meaning bluff more than
value bet.Unless it is very obvious player may have monster hand.
1. board 2456J8 no flush, pot only 30$, one guy bet 80$ , another guy call80
$. he showed 7,9 , tried to charge more for the lower straight.
2. board 77JJ3, for a 100$ pot, one guy keep calling until the river, and
all in 300$ on the river showed 77, he tried to charge the J | k******t

There is huge different between tournmaent and cash games. Due to blind
strutuce escapecially at late stages as chip counts shown, can't wait for
premier hands or you got eaten by blind and antes. There is "any pair is
good or any A is good" metality, pairs go up in values in heads-up and
people check-raised bottom pair in tourment while it's rarely in cash games.
I can't argue the plays with both, with 3-1 chip lead and O

I played online tourment too on pokerstar. everyday . | l********r
发帖数: 868 | 5 well said guys. In tournaments, I guess more players act super aggressive.
That's an effective weapon against top players. It's hard to find a balance
point between standing up and waiting for another day.
I would like to do some value overbets in cash game to cover my future bluff
and may get some extra from opponents. | l********r

generally is worth or not? I watched some <$10 buyin tournaments on
pokerstars and people just go all-in frequently. I guess $200 buyin would
make a lot difference.
I probably will watch some fulltilt tournaments over the weekend. I like to
watch live real money games on pokerstars. I can gain some experience
without investing yet.
