one new old player (a 2/5 regular and looks like solid) sit down with $300.
he played a few hands and looked good.
i was short stack before the hand ($120), got As9s in LP, limped in, a few
limpers too.
flop: not too bad, KsTs7c.
old man bet out $25, every one folded to me. i was loose and called for a
shot.
turn: 6d, well, i missed a bus.
old man thought for a while (looked like he smelled my flush draw) and bet
out $100 to put me all-in.
well, i was loose when i was short stacked, for a | k******t 发帖数: 257 | 2 Second to that. I got much more painful lesson though.
Got Q10 in J92 flop, called the old guy bet and turn 8, the old guy all in
with 18 and I mini-rasised and a third guy called. Since he was sitting next
to me I showed my hand to him (no others). He did not call my river bet so
while collecting the side pot dealer sending to me i threw my hand away.
Now the guy turned over JK claiming the main pot! My hand hit the muck but
still retractable by common sense.

| m******1 发帖数: 715 | 5 To be exact, never muck my cards before I saw the opponent's winning cards.
After I saw his card and it was a sure winner, I would most likely muck mine
. Those are still valuable info to the very observant players. | p*****l 发帖数: 399 | 6 To be frank, once the cards hit the muck, it's dead. If it happened in the
local casino I play, I think the entire main pot would have been awarded to
the old guy.
In my opinion, the old guy didn't do anything wrong, if I were the old guy,
I would have called floor to argue too.

| m******1 发帖数: 715 | 7 This incident happened when I first started to play in casino games. After
betting completed, I show the one card which made the set. The other guy
show his top pair. Then with the other card still face down, I throw my
cards in the muck!
The floorman was called. The verdict is that my hand is dead. The dealer
shaked his hand and pushed the pot to the pther guy. I was really pissed up
. Much to my suprise, my opponent saw I was newbie there and pushed all the
chips back to me!
