i'd like to tip my hat to the ironman (and iron-women) of this club. your
stories are absolute inspiration to me.
a little bit about myself: i started running 3-4X/wk for over 2 yrs, have
done various races 5K thru HM (i have a running blog). but due to bio-
mechanic imbalance, injuries have always accompanied me -foot, knees etc. so
i learned the importance of X-train. i've taught myself freestyle last year
, and are starting to enjoying it. grew up in china, biking was my primary
transportation. though it cannot be compared to competitive cycling, still i
'd train that last.
my primary goal for 2011 is to train for my 1st marathon, and also focusing
on improve my swimming skills. i will probably do more stationary cycling
than on a real bike for the time bing, and will need get tri-bike at some
point. i'm only dreaming about first tri-race at local Y (sprint-level)
perhaps in 2012.
