no, i haven't. it must be a great book to read, and juicy too. i have
only touched upon his scapegoat theory (e.g., Moses), which i guess
is one variation of his otherness theory. if looked this way, many stories
indeed seem to appeal to the mediation of some other, be it the foreigner
or stranger or victim. i scratched surface with some of those archetypical
roles such as Moses and Ruth of the Bible, Dorothy of the Oz, and now
i would include Neo in Matrix Reloaded (//blush. i am so earthy
