I was there in May 2004, just before leaving France, hitschhiking all the
way those days in the mountains and ruins of Pays des Cathares, diving into
the Romanesque origin. On that particular day, I was just down from St.
Matin du Canigou. St. Michele de Cuxa was the second monastory that I
