Lannett Company, Inc. (AMEX:LCI), a manufacturer of generic pharmaceuticals,
today announced that it has priced an underwritten public offering of an
aggregate of 5,000,000 shares of its common stock at a price to the public
of $5.00 per share. The company has offered 2,500,000 shares of common stock
and a selling stockholder of the company has offered 2,500,000 shares of
common stock. The offering is expected to close on or about December 17,
2010, subject to customary closing conditions. Oppenheimer & Co. and Roth
Capital Partners are acting as co-book running managers, and StoneGate
Securities, Inc. and Emerging Growth Equities are acting as co-managers for
the offering. The company has also granted the underwriters a 30-day option
to purchase up to 750,000 shares to cover over-allotments, if any.
The securities described above are being offered by Lannett and the selling
stockholder pursuant to a shelf registration statement previously filed with
and declared effective by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on

What an overreaction
Holy moly... they are only diluting by 2.5 million shares, the other 2.5mil
are an existing shareholder and already part of the float. THIS MEANS that
one of the big laggard shareholders has surrendered shares which will
increase liquidity. This is great news and we should trade back above 5.50
today. or at least by the end of the week.
now to find out who the buyers are | r*******y

revenue and profit should bounce back.
