DreamWorks Pictures and Paramount Pictures International to Release Cowboys
& Aliens in Select International IMAX(R) Theatres

GlobeNewswireIMAX Corporation (NYSE:IMAX) (TSX:IMX), DreamWorks Pictures and
Paramount Pictures International today announced an agreement to offer the
highly anticipated sci-fi western thriller Cowboys & Aliens in select
international digital IMAX(R) theatres day-and-date with each territory's
release date, beginning in August.
The release marks the continuation of the relationship between IMAX,
Paramount Pictures International and director Jon Favreau, whose most recent
film, Iron Man 2, grossed more than $25 million on 262 IMAX screens
globally. The filmmaking team includes producers Brian Grazer, Ron Howard,
Scott Mitchell Rosenberg, Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci. Starring Daniel
Craig, Harrison Ford and Olivia Wilde, the film is based on a Platinum
Studios graphic novel created by Scott Mitchell Rosenberg.
"We are delighted to be able to offer international audiences the
opportunity to experience the amazing visuals and spectacle of Cowboys and
Aliens in IMAX," said Andrew Cripps, President of Paramount Pictures
International. "This release marks the continuation of the fantastic

About Cowboys and Aliens
1875. New Mexico Territory. A stranger (Craig) with no memory of his past
stumbles into the hard desert town of Absolution. The only hint to his
history is a mysterious shackle that encircles one wrist. What he discovers
is that the people of Absolution don't welcome strangers, and nobody makes a
move on its streets unless ordered to do so by the iron-fisted Colonel
Dolarhyde (Ford). It's a town that lives in fear.

Warner Bros. Pictures announced that Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows -
Part 2, which is the final installment of the blockbuster film series based
on the books by J.K. Rowling, will open in a record number of theatres day-
and-date starting July 13 in several international markets and domestically
July 15.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2: An IMAX 3D Experience marks
the largest release for the company with a total of 423 global theatres
confirmed to date. It will open in 395 IMAX locations as of this weekend.
Imax has a potential upside of 31.3% based on a current price of $28.49 and
an average consensus analyst price target of $37.4.
Imax is currently below its 50-day moving average (MA) of $33.00 and should
find support at its 200-day MA of $27.74.
In the last five trading sessions, the 50-day MA has fallen 1.34% while the
