With four heavenly bodies, including Neptune, Mars, the Sun, and new moon or
February 2, all in Aquarius, filling your solar fourth house of home and
family, you will be thinking about how to make your home more comfortable
and cozy. The next day, Mercury will enter this same sector, so all together
you have half the solar system anchoring you to home base. Wow - harness
this energy and you certainly will be able to make things happen - your way!
This is an active, but also comforting trend, and you will find you have the
talent, motivation, and time to find answers to all sorts of home
situations. You may also want to make an effort to see family members too,
and enjoy catching up on news of what everyone in the clan have been doing.
Certainly the new moon February 2 will bring you many options in the two
weeks that follow, but some of the best will happen the first few days after
that new moon appears. Mercury will beam Uranus, so be prepared for sudden
news that you'll need to act on quickly if you are to benefit from all the
goodies on tap. It is simply wonderful that your ruler, active Mars, will be
conjunct the Sun, for this suggests you'll be eager to get your plans in
gear and moving forward.
If you were hoping to redo your kitchen or bath, or make home repairs or
other improvements, this would be the right time to do so. If you've been
trying to sell or buy a house, you are likely to find the right buyer or
seller now. Later you will be absorbed in other activities that will
distract you, so jump on these home-related activities now. Options that
come up later won't likely be better. (Admittedly you will have another
option at the full moon July 31, but your window for taking initiative will
pass much more quickly.)
Five planets in hard angle to your Sun might bring up an obstacle or an
occasional disagreement with a family member, such as a parent, but I feel
those disagreements won't have a lasting effect. Don't pay much attention if
you do disagree with someone - you'll forget what it was about by the next
day. Overall you'll be super-energized to make improvements and to make your
home the haven you've always wanted it to be.
Planets in Aquarius also suggest you want, and will buy, a new electronic
device - computer, flat screen TV, microwave, dishwasher, smart phone, or
other exciting new high tech "something." Again, don't delay. Before long -
by February's third week - these aspects will fade, so the sooner you act,
the better.
You may be ready to entertain guests soon, too. Neptune's beam to Venus at
the new moon also suggests you may be excited about puttering in the kitchen
and trying out new recipes. Or you may be excited about finding ways to add
small touches to your table and the rest of the apartment / house that turn
out to make all the difference. A lovely feeling of experimentation and
discovery could overtake you - perfect! Give in to it!
Furthermore, the presence of Mars suggests you may also be hosting a
houseguest this month. Mars always brings more commotion or noise wherever
he goes, so people will be coming and going from your home much more often
than usual.
To be honest, it's not clear if the people in your home are workers (as
contractors, painters, or cable guys), advisors (architect or decorator) or
treasured friends or family guests. Either way, you'll be happy to have them
! Your houseguests would pull their own weight, so rather than represent
more work, they'll be a pleasure to host.
On February 16 or 17, guard against problems with water in your home. With
the Sun conjunct Neptune, you may have to find a quick fix for an unexpected
leak, or worse, a flood, through no fault of your own. You may have had
problems with water before, or a problem due to something you were not told
about prior to moving into your new house or apartment, as Neptune tends to
obscure information. (This area of the chart also rules parents, so you may
not have all the information you crave about your family, birth parents, or
ancestry either). Neptune's not a bad guy to have around - the problem is,
when he comes, he wants to bring the sea with him!
You have had a long visit of Neptune, but he is leaving your home sector
next month, on March 11. For the first time since January 1998, you will be
free of Neptune, so any past problems with water or lack of information
about your home, family, or property will be a thing of the past.
Your career will bring exciting news at the full moon, February 18, plus or
minus four days. If you have been interviewing for a new position, you are
likely to hear at this time. With Neptune partnering with the full moon, you
may not have all the facts you need to make an informed decision, but you
will be forced to do so anyway. Ask questions and listen closely to the
person's inclination and tone in the answer. In other words, read between
the lines. In deciding about whether to take it or not, rely on your
intuition. Scorpio's instinct is always very strong, so it is unlikely you
will make a mistake.
If the position involves artistic efforts, such as music, art, color, or
design, it would explain Neptune's lovely presence, and Neptune would have
plenty to contribute. In the case of you being up for an artistic job or a
job that would have you working closely with talent, such as musicians,
artists or actors, I feel you will really love the outcome of this full moon.
Now that Jupiter, planet of great gifts and luck, is in your area of daily
work assignments, a new placement for this planet that happened late last
month on January 22, you'll be busier than ever, from now through early June
. Jupiter makes things grow like wildfire, so each assignment will have
people buzzing about the good work you are doing, and one assignment will
lead to another. Each one could get more interesting - and bring you more
money. Jupiter rules your solar second house, so it appears you will be
making good money.
You may have to hire help - it may not be possible to do all you need to do
with the staff you have now. If you do need to hire someone new to assist in
your department (no matter what the position happens to be), or even a
nanny or other helper for your personal life, you will be able to find that
person easily - and you will say this person is a gem.
To change the subject momentarily, were you thinking of getting a household
pet? Jupiter is in Aries now and shining in your sixth house, an area of the
chart that rules work, but also pets. You've now reached the perfect part
of 2011, from now through early June, to pick out your little furry creature
. Plan to go down to the animal shelter soon to find a darling little kitten
or dog.
Actually, your aspects will get even better at the end of March, the end of
April, and through all of May. Take your time and think things through, and
you will get the perfect pet for you. If you already have one, in coming
weeks and months you'll have more fun with your pet, so either way, you can'
t lose.
Romantically, lucky you, you will have lots of options to fan the fire of
love. Over the weekend of February 5-6, you might decide to entertain
friends or travel a short distance to go out of town. This will be a truly
delicious weekend, for the moon will be in romantic Pisces, and Mercury and
Jupiter, together, will wave their magic wands over any plans you have on
your agenda.
With Venus touring your third house of short distance travel, getting out of
town for one weekend this month might just add the right balance to all the
focus on home you will have on your mind. You may not get much notice that
you are about to go just a few days earlier, near February 2, but everything
will sound good, and it will be, so why stay home?
Valentine's Day falls on a Monday, and although that day of the week sounds
a bit awkward for going out after work, don't be tempted to schedule your
special dinner for earlier, over the preceding weekend. That weekend of
February 12-13 won't have nearly the special vibrations that you will on
Monday.
On February 14, the moon will be in tender Cancer, the ideal place to have
the moon to enjoy the MOST romantic day possible. On this same day, if you
plan to promise your love or to plan the future with your beloved, you will
have Mercury and Saturn to support you. Promises made will last forever.
This is certainly a rare and special Valentine's Day!

sweet and spicy influence of Mars. This energetic, action-oriented planet

Neptune conjoin.
Your career will be the source of wonderful news at the full moon, February
18. Neptune will be close to the Sun at the time, so if you work in a
