SAN FRANCISCO (AP) -- EBay says its third-quarter profit climbed 22 percent
though revenue only inched upward, due mainly to a boost from interest and
other income.
For the July-September period, eBay Inc. earned $432 million, or 33 cents
per share. This compares with a profit of $350 million, or 27 cents per
share, in the year-ago quarter.
When excluding one-time items, eBay earned 40 cents per share, beating the
average expectations of analysts polled by Thomson Reuters by 3 cents.
Revenue rose 1 percent to $2.25 billion, with nearly all the growth coming
from its PayPal payment service.
San Jose, Calif.-based eBay is in the midst of revamping eBay.com in hopes
of enticing buyers and retaining sellers. At the same time, PayPal has grown
quickly as an increasing number of merchants and consumers use it on and
off eBay. |

没研究财报，也懒得看，这种股票没意思。
随便想象，费用提高了，当然收入会增加
discount减少了，当然收入也会增加
详细地说，比如说现有的top-rated seller规则，可以把以前一大堆符合powerseller能
拿到20% discount的人一举灭掉。
另外公司业务多种多样，可以减少对revenue贡献不大但是亏损严重的项目，可以裁员等
等
另外ebay应该是回购过股票的，也会创造收入 |

如果明天开盘太高，明天开盘就是。
再以后就不好说了。shopping season来了以后，这种股票有可能也会就势稍微涨一点。

seems ebay break down the long term downtrend and heading to a high..
the potential from paypal is able to overcome their loss from market
place..
. i think mid-long term ebay have little down side potential now..
until paypal see major competition , i don't see the chance for ebay to go
for single digit. |

28不算高罢，也就是10%而已。
如果大约20%也就是到30的以上，经验上来说，完全可以开盘就short
最早从开盘开始，最晚从中午开始，就要跳水了

paypal，黑老大，吃了seller吃buyer。比如说，file claim的，paypal两边都不退钱
，都是他自己的了。平均一个电脑，file一个claim，paypal就能赚1000。 |

现在已经很尴尬了，30是一个阻力点，图形上看也到了这个股票需要调整的时间了。
下面很难办，如果一旦突破30，上40真的不奇怪
如果突不过去，除非整个市场暴跌，不然也不会跌多少。
