我的理解是被盗用或者弄错了的交易，应该去dispute
某次买东西，第一次刷卡没反应，又刷一次才过，后来看到两笔pending charge，打电
话问商店，说等等看，如果两笔都post，就去dispute cc，最终只有一笔post了，我也
失去了那个感受的机会

上次买相机送15gift card，相机都cancel了，gf倒是给我寄出来了，charge了15块，
一个月过去了，gf还是没收到（现在还是没收到），然后dispute了cc,citi很快就解决
了，马上来信说15块已成我的permanent的credit了。

call the vendor first, you should not directly dispute any questionable
charge with some reputable companies, ex Bestbuy, walmart, airlines, hotels
or some online retailer etc
you should do the CC dispute only if you can not contact the vendor or the
vendor is not co-operative, or the direct dispute period with the vendor
was over (such as paypal 45 days, most retailer 7-60 days free return
period)

she寄丢了3000多的gc，要求重新寄或者refund，两个多月没有反应，只能dispute。。。
还有一次是shopper寄丢了80刀safeway |

1 time: Once Staples.com only shipped one unit, and refused to do anything
even after I called the Staples president's office.
1 time: Bought some musical instruments from www.musiciansfriend.com and
returned them, but credit was not issued for a long time, forced to dispute. |
