The storm is moving quicker than it was this morning. Landfall is expected
just south of Atlantic City, NJ around 6:00 pm tonight. Winds will be
strongest closest to the eye (30-40 mph sustained with gusts up to 60).
High tide in Lewes tonight is at 9:15 (lower of the two high tides today).
Morning high tide will be just as bad as this morning, but no worse. Should
expect another 4 inches of rain through tomorrow morning.
Bay Bridge (route 50 in Maryland) closed. Bridges over the Susquehanna
into Maryland are closed. Not expecting to close bridges over the canal.
DRBA has not closed the Memorial Bridge, but lane restrictions and speed
restrictions.
Received Presidential Disaster Declaration from President's Office at noon
today. No changes to State of Emergency declaration or driving restrictions
(Still at a Level 2).
