Your product(s) did not include the required poly bagging to enable storage
at the fulfillment center.
Your products should be sent to FBA with a scannable bar code and ready to
be fulfilled. Any products that require additional prep or labeling upon
receipt at the Amazon fulfillment center will experience a delay in
receiving and may be subject to charging for any unplanned services.
How do I avoid this problem in the future?
Poly bags can be used to protect products during storage and shipment. Poly
bags must meet the following requirements:
•Poly bags with a 5" opening or larger (measured when flat) are
required to have a suffocation warning, either printed on the bag itself, or
attached as a label.
•The thickness of the bag must be at least 1 millimeter.
•The poly bag must be transparent.
•The poly bag must have a label that is scannable through the bag or
have a label on the outside of the bag.
•Poly bags must be completely sealed.
•Poly bag or shrink wrap must not protrude more than 3" past the
dimensions of the product.
Specific categories that may require poly bags include:
•Liquids
•Pellets, powders and granular
•Plush
•Baby products
•Apparel, fabric and textiles
•Jewelry
•Small products
Note: If a unit is poly bagged, it may also require a label if the bag
prevents the barcode from being scanned.
