It's a stunningly beautiful botanic garden with one main attraction being
the 'sunken gardnen' transformed from a former mining site by the wife of a
wealthy mine owner. The stair in the picture connects to the bottom of the
sunken garden, which was previously a giant hole on the ground after
limestone mining. |
