I just read Gilda's blog yesterday. It's very inspiring. Now, this time, I
have to stick to my dieting & exercise plan until I finally slim down.
Determination and strong will are all I need now.
My plan is:
Dieting:
Breakfast: cereal and hard boiled egg, with 1% low fat milk. Black coffee
Lunch: Salad or sandwich.
Dinner: Fruit and veggie.
Exercise:
Every day: 20-40 mins walking------ start from 20 mins and gradually
increase to 40 mins
I am 5'6'', 149 lbs now. My goal is to get back to my weight 4 years ago---
110 lbs by the end of 2011.
My motivation of losing weight comes from the list below:
1. Buy pretty clothes/shoes/accessories. Now I only shop for my baby, I want
to shop for myself!
2. To look and feel younger to re-establish my self-esteem.
3. Have more energy to play with my baby.
4. Walk out of the depression and ignite the passion for life.
I will log my daily diet and exercise here. Also the change in weight.
I love this place, it makes me feel warm.

When it comes to salad, dressing is the key.
Green and leafy can be misleading.

39lb weight loss in 4 months, and only 20-40 min walking per day? Impossible
! Unless you eat like a rabbit.

好像有点aggresive...一个月能稳步下来5磅就是很牛了。关键是能持续的下降,慢一
点没关系。

目标定得有点高了,这么ambitious的计划得有相应的行动才是。走路20-40分钟有点太
少了,即使是跑步的话也不算多。其实没必要那么急了,实际一点反而不容易半途而废

运动太少
蛋白质太少,尤其是晚饭,会饿的
沙拉可以用酸奶拌着吃

No pills.
Lots of ppl have done it just by following principles of this board.Shed
your pounds in a healthy way.
You will be proud of yourself.

一边吃donut一边吃减肥药,很好,很健康!
减完以后不用吃药了,继续吃donut,然后再长肥
肥去肥又来,一如明媚滴春光~~~
BTW 我才发现自己太无知了,连doughnut怎么拼都不知道

I haven't started pills yet, because it's still on the way, haven't receive
the shipment yet. Here's the link of the pill, looks like it won't hurt much
..

If you think my breakfast is bad, my lunch is even worse 5555555 (see the
update above)
So I need to eat nothing but an apple for the rest of the day. And light
diet too tomorrow.

I wish I am belong to those self diciplined people, too. My weight was 145
about 1 month ago, now I am 149 so you see I can gain weight easily but lose
weight in a very hard way. That's why I think I need a jump start with the
aid of pills. I do select my pills though, to minimize the side effects.

My coworker brought a dozen to the office and everybody has one-------
including me. I think it's still the lack of will power thing. And I had
pizza just now----- company luncheon.....
Will definitely eat just an apple today and eat only veggie and fruit
tomorrow.
I know i am guilty, 55555555555555555555555555555555555555555555

人家给你买了,你可以不吃啊。。。
你可以说:“我早上吃很饱了,你们谁想吃就吃了我这份”---可以送给年轻的男孩
子吃啊
company luncheon,你也可以不吃啊
比罪恶更重要的是,要学会怎么控制环境的变化,而不是让环境控制你。
要不这世界上永远没有“理想的减肥环境”,到处都是诱惑。

我个人不认为任何减肥药,有长期作用。甚至做了缩胃手术,90%的人都会大反弹
剩下的人是彻底改变了自己生活方式才没反弹。
你要停止这种“我是易胖体质,所以我比别人困难,所以我需要药物”的pathet
ic的想法。
这世界上没有“绝对易胖体质”这说,时不时来个donut,时不时吃片pizza
只要是人,都会胖!一个月长5磅没什么,不要panic,要认真思考。

比罪恶更重要的是,要学会怎么控制环境的变化,而不是让环境控制你。
I will keep this in mind! Well said! Thank you for pointing that out. I

今天晚上,啃celery hearts and baby carrots,还可以吃生菜,不要吃苹果,糖多,
你今天已经吃了donut了
明天:
早上喝牛奶或豆浆一杯,如果你是碳水控的话吃点燕麦或红薯一块,还可以吃一个煮鸡蛋
中午,吃chicken salad,没有dressing,或者加bosamic vinegar
晚上,吃点lean protein(e.g. fish, chicken) 和水煮蔬菜
早饭午饭之间,如果饿了,加苹果一个
午饭晚饭之间,如果饿了,加蛋白质一份,比如yogurt, cottage cheese

Actually I gained that 5 lbs in just 2 weeks. After another 2 weeks, I lost
1 of the extra 5 lbs. It did strike me. I know I can't live on pills, it won
't give me lasting result. But for now I just wish to be stuck into my size
6-8 clothes again, asap. Really tired of being of size 10-12. And because I
don't shop when I am fat, I have limited clothes to choose from everyday. I
feel sick by just looking at them. I need some new color new styles-----at
least to "activate" the clothes in my wardrobe that don't fit now. That's
why I sought the help of pills, on myself, it will be long and painful.
Though I know to keep the weight off I have to change my life style and that
's what I am doing now, too. (Despite for today's out of wack eating)

something tomorrow.

Okay I will save the apple for tomorrow.
I will eat nothing for the rest of the day because I think the calories are
more than enough now. I will walk 20 mins tonight, play with the baby) and
have the apple as breakfast tomorrow.
Will update tomorrow's diet here.

Actually it's hard for me to skip dinner too, as my parents always ask me to
