But we encountered two hails on two consecutive days and one of the favorite
trails(grinnel glacier) was closed due to bear activity :(

发帖数: 11847 | 8 Those animals were the luckiest during summer time...so are the cows in the nearby ranches. When we went out eating, my LD always ordered steak after seeing all those happily fed cows on the open grass area, he only got lucky one time though lol

all the time, and no reservation upfront.
Too bad it rained on two days and with hail. One favorite trail was closed
due to bear activity.

one of the scenic spots and you can walk in freely sitting in the deck to
enjoy the scenery.
It's a nearly century old swiss building, most of people made their reservation at least half a year in advance...

发帖数: 11847 | 16 We slept one day in a cabin in Yellowstone NP. Quite frankly, I'd rather
sleep in my own tent/blanket. Those cabins were pretty simple and you need
to walk some distance to go public shower/restroom. We paid over $73 per
night only because it's on a scenic spot. I didn't want to use their pillow
/sheet stuff. I brought my own sleeping sheet.
Camping is not too bad for me. We had our own air bed, down comforter,
regular pillow, sheet. The tent was for 3 but only 2 slept inside. We used th

more spetacular than iceberg lake in Glacier NP. But i lost all my photos from there due to memeory card problem :(

下大雨..除了松鼠啥也没看见.....
偶们去的时候, LOGAN PASS还都是大雪呢......看不见TRAIL |

about half of the time in remote areas. . Only live in hotels in bigger
cities. Camping makes me closer to Nature and save a lot for hotel rates.
But camping gear is not cheap, it cost us (2) about $1000. But good thing is
we can use them in the next trip. :-)

发帖数: 11847 | 21 I think end of July probably is the best time to go. We went early Aug. and
didn't see as much Glacier as my friend who went end of July last year.
We drove all the way from West Glacier to East along Going to the Sun Road
early morning around 6 am when there's no much traffice. It's quite amazing
experience...

singining and river running nearby. HOwever, over a week camping down the
road was bit too much. I really missed my bed and my shower after a while
