狗这么闹她检查不了，还总跟technitian complain,非常demanding.
三个人搞不定，把我那么乖个狗五花大绑，嘴罩也戴上，把他吓死了，后来都不相信我
的样子。
真气死我了，反正不会再去

不过也要看是什么问题。。。
我们家当时的诊断就是皮炎（轻微），外加外耳发炎（严重）
取样检验后就是消炎油膏和药物浴液
解释后我觉得很make sense
我不懂为什么上Cortisone，抗炎么？
Cefpodoxime搜索了一下，好像也是抗炎的。
我的医生一般会提前告诉我价钱，两种药见效快慢，麻烦不麻烦什么的，然后让我选。
比如豆腐，每次他都问我，豆腐吃药和我按时喂药有没有问题，我说裹cheese，她很爱吃
医生就直接给我chewable药片，如果药片不管用再打针，类似这样
Cytology是必要的（应该就是我说的取样检验）

我们这家是三十。。。。。。。。@_@
当时耳朵cleaning是免费的
上回豆腐去照x光，还免费剪指甲，挤屁眼

第一次：
exam （清耳朵每次去都可以要求，不另收费）: $60.
医生自己陶点东西出来，说不用化验了，肯定是yeast infection.
配了药膏otomax 十几块。
1周疗程后，小家伙没有好转，
去了第2次：
因为是同一个原因去的，不收exam费了
医生说只能开强药了（她说她不喜欢一开始就开这个药）：
这回用了Cefpodoxime 100mg $35.9(后来price match到14块）
还有trimeprazine 2mg $35.9 (pm到10块）。
小家伙好了，再没犯过。以前是天天用耳朵水洗，还出黑东西。现在每个礼拜都是白白
的，稍微擦擦就好了。

天的experience一样。那个vet压根就很烦狗的样子。
连我都pissed off成这个样子，跟别提kaka了，整一个受惊过度。

天耗了3个assistants花了将近40分钟才搞完。

，ear cleaning). And this is an average-to-high cost compared to the other
animal hospitals in my area. The place looks pretty decent even fancy.
I don't have expereince with the other items below, but they seem to be very
expensive too.
Go online to write your reviews to make other people aware of this bad vet.
Try to find one with good review (when reading reviews, pay extra attention
to the negative ones. Some you can tell don't really matter or affect you,
but some do). Call to get a price for exam (and some regular medicine if you
know the name) before you make the appointment.

My vet told me to try other thing first when pipi has allergy before put him
on steroid. Long term steroid is very bad even steroid usage one time only clear the symptom, not the cause.
cefpodoxime is a 头胞medication which I don't think it is appropriate in his
case. Pipi's doctor gave him a triple anti bacterial-fungal ear drop which
is like 40 dollars. pipi got ear infection again, we just called the vet
and get the prescription. In this case, oral medication will not help much,
it might help, but also bring systemic side effect as well.
As a conclusion, I would change a vet, this one does not seems that
considerate.

用的情况下才考虑。
可能一下子猛药太多了， 狗才会这么不舒服的

had to wash his toes every time when he come back from outside and 3 times a
day regularlly. But it's getting better.the vet gave him some antihistamine
and said if this and the wash does not clear the allergy, he will be put on
chronic steroid. Panting and breathing heavily does not seems like
allergic symptoms. but pipi is always panting and breathing heavily, so I
can not speak much. Cefpodoxime is an antibiotics not really treat fungal.
pipi's vet give him Tri-otic for ear which contail gentamicin (antibiotic),
clotrimazole (antifungal) and betamethasone (steroid)). However, this
steroid is very little amount only 1mg in total 25 g bottle, so I did not
worry about it too much. But giving steroid shot is a bit too much. His first time ear infection is very bad, and one ear smelt very bad, dark collor stuff in side, shaking his head a lot. I did notice, had no experience, but now I know.

antibacterial, antifungal ointment for 1 week with no improvement at all.

called simplicef or cefopadoxime. simplicef is the brand which is usually
more expensive and I am not sure whether it is a generic available, but
always worth asking. third: usually duration of therapy is 7-10 days and I
checked pet pharmacy online, it is like $4 a pill. Depending on how long
they prescribed it to you. longest can be 28 days, but I don't think it is
right to start with a 28 days therapy regiment at first place. |

I am used to steriods because of my back problem; didn't realize this bad
for dogs...his ear smelled really bad since yesterday but I only saw black
stuff outside his ear and he had skin irritations on his tummy, vet said
severe infection for one ear and his skin is bad so he needs the shot to
clear the whole system or sth like that...

time. and now it's like piece of cake. I mean pipi's belly also have some
rashes, i usually just let it heal itself and worse case give him some
benadryl. But maybe his infection is more systemic than pipi, I can not
really tell at this point, but steroid chronic usage is not a good sign. for
symptom relieve will clear symptoms this time, but may exacerbate next time
, so avoid large dose.
