大家帮我看看，我家的是不是很像pit bull?
他的确是有pit的血统，但是我们也是领养来的，兽医院的表上写得他是pitbull。
但我们肯可不可以说他是别的品种，说什么好呢？
刚续了一年的合同年，也实在舍不得他啊。 |

what did you report when you signed the contract ah?
did they ask at that time?
2.
you can ask your vet to change the medical records to "mixed"...
just say you don't know if the dog has pit in it...
3.
check your leasing agreement and start training your dog ASAP
get it certified as a canine good citizen...
even better, a therapy dog
my leasing agreement excludes all aggressive breeds
does not make exception for mix
but does make exception for "aid dogs", which is not defined clearly
I think i might be able to get away with "therapy dog" if it ever comes up...
right now my dog tofu is a "boxmatian" on our leasing agreement
and a "mix" on all other paper records...

1. get vet paper changed to mixed breed instead of anything shown as pitbull
or pitbull mix. show that to leasing office when they come to you for
trouble
2. stay under the radar. unless they come to you, do not do anything to
attract their attention or give them a reason to search for your dog.
3. check the lease you signed. policy changed after signing should not
affect your eligibility as a resident
4. worst of the worst, move. rent a single family house with a yard. it's
not that expensive, sometimes even cheaper if you can find a smaller one.
check local pennysaver and craigslist
if you send him back to shelter, with his size, breed and age, he will be
killed. keep that in mind when you are thinking about abandon him just
because you don't want to move |

unless someone report your dog, they will NOT take the effort searching for
him. as long as you didn't put "pitbull" in your leasing agreement, and do
not walk him around the leasing office in bright daylight everyday, they
will not know he exists |

there are tons of conversion buildings now
(built for sale but had to lease instead)
half of my current apartment building is empty.
they even gave out 2 months free for some units just to attract residents.
i think they need me more than wanting to remove the dog.

你签合同的时候有没有这条？没有的话他们不能赶你走。

我们不是小pit，我们都七八岁了。。。
合同上好像没写，记不清了。我要去找来看看。
但是搬来的时候，他们根本没提对狗的要求，我们试探性地问对狗又没有什么限制，比
如大小。manager说了不让养agressive breed，我们当时就装傻了，没说话，他们也没
追问。
一般兽医会不会都比较好讲话？我就怕碰上死认真的那种，不给我写。
我们这应该是个mix。 |

谢谢MM，我们在dallas。
不知道apartment抽哪门子风，我们估计是有人去报告了。
今天我在外面看见一只跟那个“泰森”一样的pit，看见我还要扑我，幸好被主人拽回
去了。我估计主要是针对他们的吧。
我打算先去兽医那搞个证明，就装可怜去求他们，说要是不写mix就要被拖走put down。
这种不算让他们违背职业道德什么的吧？

发帖数: 2312 | 31 大部分兽医还是比较care狗的命运的，何况你这个本来就是mix。如果是pit和lab的mix
，就写lab mix。如果是pit和boxer的mix，就写boxer mix。
你还可以找一家有certificate的dog trainer帮你家狗做一个evaluation，证明伊是性
情温柔的好狗一只。
