白雪那是超级不拍死的拼命三郎型，跟JRT不怕死相符。JRT也是出了名的热爱旅行探险
。我前面贴的link也显示了不少人同意白雪是JRT的。

But we should be careful here. Without haircut for long, both wire-haired fox terrier and other breeds, like a wire-haired JRT, would look like a hair ball from top to bottom. Then, it would be just one haircut away for them to look much like Snowy. Even Snowy's standing ears are often seen in a running JRT, though being calm, neither a JRT nor fox terrier's ears look like Snowy's. Same argument would apply to some other terrier breeds, like a white Schnauzer.
Aside from looking, physically, Snowy is extremely athletic, barky, agile, and energetic, which is more than what a typical modern fox terrier can handle, but just about right for an average JRT. Behaviorally, Snowy changed in the course of the TinTin series. According to wiki: "Snowy was the source of dry and cynical side-commentary, which balanced out Tintin's constantly positive, optimistic perspective", but later in the series "Snowy gradually shifted into a more light-hearted role". other breeds, plus a lot of Herge's own idealization. Who knows whether the store-dog Herge met was a pure fox terrier in the first place, let alone other dogs who influenced him over years. But one things is clear, and many wire-haired JRT owners would agree, that they see Snowy replicate too much of their dearest companion.
P.S. Wire-haired JRT is still less well-known than smooth-coat; otherwise, more people would have thought Snowy a JRT.

In fact, I personally would only label Snowy to terrier family. Among
terriers, I would say fox terrier, esp. with their popular modern hairstyle,
is the most alike to Snowy in looking. It is apparently also more widely
accepted that Snowy in a fox terrier as a result. And JRT on average is the
most alike to Snowy in behavior; and with the deliberate hair-cut, a wire-
haired JRT could also look very much like Snowy regardless of the view angle
. Neither breed, however, in AKC standard matches Snowy's standing ears. So
Snowy is most likely, from our current standard, a terrier mix.
Also Snowy in the recent movie is too concrete and explicit, with a lot
incarnations of other dogs introduced by by the makers.

发帖数: 955 | 53 写了这么多～且听我也细细道来。德牧有长毛，短毛，中长毛的区别，其中长毛德牧又
分成双层长毛跟标准长毛，即单层长毛。标准长毛德牧的毛可以是卷的，哈哈。
成年德牧是大块头(顺带说一下，我家这位姑娘净重83磅)，但是，谁规定白雪一定是只
成年德牧呢？为什么不可以是一只儿童德牧？德牧2个月的时候重量大概18-20磅，完全
符合白雪的形象嘛。对了，2个月的德牧耳朵半竖不竖，俨然就是白雪嘛。JRT耳朵是全
塔拉的-顺带说一句。
至于德牧的尾巴，只要他处于开心玩耍状态，就是翘起来的。就是白雪，害怕的时候一
样会夹起尾巴，我说的没错吧？
德牧只爱工作，不能享受娱乐？大错啦。你知道我怎么训练我家狗吗？就是陪他玩。不
陪他玩，他才不听你的坐下，趴下匍匐前进呢，再是给好吃的也不如陪玩好使
还有什么？德牧注意力集中？对于prey drive高的或许是吧，对于散漫惯了的，很容易
就squirrel了。
结论：白雪从外貌到性格到体能，就是一只2个月大的纯白色标准长毛德牧，呵呵

发帖数: 472 | 68 是的。所以我一直说JRT"也“可以很像（看发型--毕竟Snowy的发型是几十年前的）；
而且是JRT的性格才是真像。从我接触的几只FoxTerrier,偏呆板，不像。接触的和观赏
的JRT>50, 颇多像Snowy. 当然不排除有的FoxTerrier很天才。
如前所说，更可能的是Herge渐渐给Snowy加了新的体会，变得越来越乐观有趣，特立独
行。 这些恰好像典型的JRT. 就像JRT源于FoxTerrier(actually a distinct branch
of FoxTerrier), 但有所发展。把Snowy当JRT不但不过分，而且很能理解。所以我很支
持楼主。
My best guess? As 楼主 said, Snowy is a terrier mix that's closely related
to Fox Terrier and JRT... is probably a good description...
