How do you know this? by using it in China by yourself or your friends?
The website at https://www.zteusa.com/maven-3 shows that
the cell phone has the following frequencies.
GSM/EDGE 850/1900 - HSPA 850/1900/AWS - LTE B2/B4/B5/B12
These frequencies are not compatible with China cell phone vendors.
And it means it cannot be used in China.
