hehe Money money money, nobody actually clearly present how much
is needed to maintain this bbs
My take will be
a single Database server around 5k
a web server around 2k
a telnet server around 2k
those cost span around 3 yrs so around 300 per month leasing
and a development server for internal testing.
plus the monthly 1-1.2 k network access fee
I would assume all the maintenance will be done by volunteers
so no cost there.

To expand the idea on this
For this volunterr network to work, and people willing to pay
we can make a distiction b/w paid member and pure user of this bbs
paid user and code contributor(we need people to maintain this bbs)
are deemed members as contrast to pure users. Fundamentally members
are the owner of this bbs, which do having voting right on bbs issues
they are the people who will vote on sysops, big financial decisions,
for everyday manageme |
