比较少（看不同program，我们的没有过100k的），即使拿到，也有点亏。 |

请问有经验的同仁该怎么做？还有，这种情况，除了EAGER，还有别的有可能能拿到一

EAGER。
一个月前已经投了。现在还没有消息。秋季快开不了锅了。。。挺失败的。。。

for two years is more like NSF regular grants though.
Does R21 submission have a hard deadline or be on a rolling basis?
Are prelim data essential?
Sorry for the ignorance. I know nothing about NIH. I understand I need to
read the NIH website for more info. I am asking questions here just to have
a quick idea about NIH R21.

人说proposal被拒可以要eager, 就打电话给PM. 结果PM说，bluntly speaking, you
got non-competitive .... 他说一辈子都记住了这句话．所以我non-competitive和
low-competitive时从没contact PM. |

proposal给他？还是在第一封邮件里就直接附上proposal的好？
【2】如果对方感兴趣的话，follow up的话是电话聊还是见面聊很有效果？我倒是不介
意直接飞出去哪怕只聊半个小时 :)
【3】参照版上之前的帖子，感觉EAGER就是给regular program没中的人的安慰奖。那
如果我这个proposal之前没有投过regular program，是不是没啥说服力了。

即使让你减budget，budget impact statement可能很难通过吧，我瞎猜的。Eager如果
被PM邀请，应该没问题。两年20万不少了，有的CMMI program现在即使regular award
也就这个数。 |
