then they will focus more on it.
My kids are not good at expressing themselves, they do talk, but they need
help putting sentenses together. so based on what I see from my kids therapy
sessions, the main purpose is to find different ways (fun ways) to teach
them to talk the right way, answer questions and make requests. It's a lot
of repetition. Don't expect the therapists to do miracle work, they are
only here 1 to 2 hours a week. The real work is done by the parents/
caregiver. Parents need to learn from the therapist and apply all the
techniques at home everyday. |
