她本科physics，转专业申了CS和STAT两个专业的Master，目前收到了几个AD，她毕业
之后的目标是工作（如果有继续PhD的后路就更好了）。
CS是不是比STAT容易就业的多？麻烦大家给点选校意见欧～
UMich： CSE/MS/AD，40k/yr，1.5-2yr，综排29/专排13，工程牛校CS略弱，地方差了
点，找工作不利，不知MS转PhD有没机会；
NEU： CS/MS/AD，35k/yr，1.5yr，综排69/专排61，新兴学校，Boston的IT业还算发达
，据说学校的co-op项目也很不错，继续申PhD没什么优势；
UMN： STAT/MS/AD，20k/yr，1.5-2yr，综排64/专排17，老牌牛校，地方不好，也太冷
了，转PhD有机会？
Rice： STAT/M.Stat/AD，25k/yr，1.5yr，综排17/专排38，小而精的私校，还便宜，
Houston当地能源基金和biostat工作机会应该都不少，学位不如MS/MA？继续PhD难吧？

这和租车的利息是不是一样。
我们的感觉是如果5000 down, 可以讲到$650/month, 就差不多，您觉得呢？

我在AZ,上上周买的2011 Sienna LE,昨天提到了新车。当时没有我要的颜色，是周一才
从工厂送
到的，odo只有3mile. 成交价格是27588+TTL，Dealer额外送windows tint,2yr
maintainance,upgraded alarm system. 昨天我看truecar.com,27588这个数字已经显示
在他们的数据上面了，从成交地点来看就是我这个。
买车是朋友陪我去的，完事后dealer给了他$100 referal. 另外由于dealer一开始答应
两天到
货，后来一周多才到，又同意也给我$100作为补偿。
本来想过去加州买车,能比这里低不少，但是考虑到种种原因，还是在local买了。
最近sienna在recall,不过这辆车是12月才生产的，不在recall list上面。
前期做过一些research,比较了Sienna低中高三个代表性型号，前提是都是V6发动机，
前驱。

应该是最好的配置了，不知道那年有没有autobahn了， 但是我看了一下，能想到的基
本都配了，heated leather seats, sunroof, premium sound, premium wheel, auto
climate control, etc.
Dealer谈到$16000不肯再降了。
主要是07年还是FSI engine, 08年后半段开始TSI engine, FSI问题好像不少，貌似玩
GTI改装的都推荐TSI。
然后carfax上显示这个车不少部件换过，不知道是certified pre-owned的要求，还是
曾经有过什么问题。
有经验的同学觉得这个车如何？ |

On the other hand, if the car is quite new (1-2yrs old) and has a very
convincing history, then it could be the case that the dealer is just
selling for profit without hiding much about the vehicle (particular the
dealer is a well established one with good reputation). In that case, the
real issue is just about a good price. |

cabriolet挺拉风的
Hydraulic的刹车非常硬，需要点时间适应
加速是个问题，明显会感觉换档的延时，有时候加速换个挡需要2-3秒
高速开70没问题，80会感觉有点吃力
主驾和附驾空间非常宽敞，不比一般的compact car差
trunk有点小，特别是敞篷版的
油耗还不错，local能到30
停车时空间优势明显
是个拉风的小车，实用性和动力差点
还有就是warranty只有2yr/24k mile |

车是2006的美车，7万mile，kbb good price价值7000(如果引擎修好的话)。
现在找到一个rebuilt engine还带3 yr warranty，连同安装费需要2700刀。
装这个rebuilt engine之后，如果明年卖掉的话，还能卖个好价钱么？
有2yr warranty的rebuilt engine，会给车增值，还是因为rebuilt title

insurance (permit or not, doesn't matter).
You could face 2yr suspension, and pay heavy fine. BTW your insurance card
would clearly state when the policy starts, so it really doesn't do you any
good if you get insurance after the fact.
You can pray that the judge is lenient or an idiot, but seeing how poor Ohio
is, I doubt you are going to get much leniency. If the police officer
