Nah. Economy runs like this: You first produce and earn some money. You
then go out consuming. Still you don't overconsume. You save some which
becomes capitals that can be invested to grow more wealth.
What Americans did was they produced less and less and yet consumed like
there's no tomorrow. To fill the gap, they took on an abysmal load of
debt that they now cannot pay back. The only thing that steadily grows
in US is the national debt and welfare liabilities, neither of which is

tens of trillions tell you? That's TENS of TRILLIONS, mind you. And they
don't have any honest means to pay it off.
US is bankrupted. What does a man do when he's about to drown? He goes
nuts, trying to grab anything in sight to stay afloat, and that's what
US government will do fiscally.
