发帖数: 5550 | 2 1.5 mile左右的时候，鞋带散了，走了几步，系了鞋带，又走了几步，恢复跑。。。就
停了30秒吧。。。。不过出门前一个小时，吃了巨大的一个苹果。刚回家，就下暴雨了
，运气不错。
sigh,今天27岁了（5555555555。。。。。），就算作一个小小的acheivement, 自己个
自己加把劲吧。
其实想起来，我和跑步也算有缘分。我虽然从小就不是一个很有毅力的人，但是在10来
岁的时候，自己想做的事情，还基本能照计划做下去，其中最显著的一个“事迹”，就
是中考前半年的样子，因为要考体育，其中有800米，自己一直挣扎在及格边缘，为了
不拉总分，就每天早上自己爬起来，绕着家附近的广场跑步。那个时候爸妈都还没有起
床呢。虽然跑的慢又少，但是居然坚持下来了，最后800米成绩差一秒满分。。。。为
这件事情，连我外婆都经常夸我有毅力。
后来我就一步步的滑向了procrastination得深渊。大概跟高考压力有关，大学里几乎
就是自暴自弃过来的。到了美国，各种原因，天天都很stress,干脆depression了。
procrastination到了极致。这些年，坏习惯养成了，主要是心理上的一 |

snowbird is heaven for those daredevils..very diffcult, not just for beginner
like me, but for those intermediate or advanced levels too..
For sure, that's some challenge. you'll feel sense of acheivement if you get
things under control.
Alta..uh..i love Alta...every one will love it! spacious, very nice path,
reasonable arrangement, good snow, good view..you ENJOY skiing there for sure!

手举着龙刀去砍。摸索了两遍找到放箭，走位，挥刀砍龙头的节奏，然后就耐心一遍遍
试。砍不中也躲回楼梯底。还好一次砍过了，激动啊。
不过今晚也太太太太黑手了。两个黑骑士全掉的shard。

sorry, i should have made myself more precisely in my statement, when i say
"biz ppl" i basically mean MBA sort. I do acknowledge PhDs in biz area,
especially Finance guys, are pretty hardcore in research. Merton for example.
i didn't say i think econ is a hardcore science as physics, did i? I said some
devoted people trying their best to acheive this.
it's more of a philosophical question as to if econ, and if social sci in
general, could ever be a science, given the subjects of their stud |

眼光来看，肯定要说这个东西不现实，能不能找到一个好的，可行的编码还是一个巨大
的问题。理论东西总是超前很多的，但是又是必须的。我个人觉得network
information theory看不到实用价值的原因是找不到现实的编码，一个简简单单的AWGN channel
都花了人们几十年时间才找到capacity acheiving code，所以NIT近期是不要想了。 |

Comparison of different industries is interesting and helpful. The
superstsrs in all industries could acheive quite impressive success, but it
never means that a particular individual is garanteed to succeed if he
takes that path. Opportunites are only potentials. They are not yours until
you get them.
understanding the potentials can help one make a good decision though.
That's my general philosophy of job hunting. :) |
