当方向盘的输入角度和车身转向角度不一致的时候active steering就介入修正前轮转
角。这种电子设备动作的“速度”和“精度”比顶级的driver都强。
用处很大，比如高速过弯的时候出现over-steering，系统可以自动counter steer，；
在湿滑路面容易出现的甩尾跑偏active steering也可以很大程度缓解；有的人喜欢红
灯前
来个drag race，active steering可以自动compensate，使车不跑偏。
active steering可以和traction control配合最大限度提高过弯速度和行驶稳定性。
active steering的介入强度可调，有人喜欢小幅度的甩尾漂移只要把active steering
调低就可以。
总之active steering + average driver可以轻松灭掉no active steering + top
driver. |

的。但是有很大一批active managed fund的历史并不长，一两年干的好就可以浑水摸
鱼。
还有就是很好的fund一般都被大机构投资者独占了，一般投资者也很难进去。08年金融
危机又给打着对冲避险基金旗号的很多fund一记闷棍。基于这样的考虑，index ETF就
开始受欢迎了。

授课的是一个有近二十年警龄的老警官，授课用了大量的PPT和录像，效果不错。
他一上来先解释什么是active shooter（就是我们说的在公共场合滥杀无辜的变态枪手
，比如VT那个棒子杀手），告诫我们active shooter随时可能出现，不要抱有幻想。
他说active shooter是疯狂的，谈判和哀求都没用，不用尝试。
接着，他说如果听到疑似枪声，千万不要浪费时间猜测那是什么声音，因为百分之九十
九那就是枪声，要马上逃跑求生。逃跑的第一要务是迅速找出逃生路线，因此，熟悉单
位的所有exit是必须的。为了保证自己熟悉所有的exit，平日就应该使用不同的exit出
入，不要总是使用自己熟悉的那个。如果所有出口都堵住了，就砸窗逃生，总之是离开
这个building。
如果逃不了，那第二选择就是躲。反锁门，用所有能找到的东西堵住门，越多越重越好
；关灯；关手机；保持安静。active shooter不会浪费时间打开被堵住的门，即使他怀

你就按正常程序activate，不然的话，AT&T会认为你没有activate而不继续让你upgrade. activate后，你的老SIM卡deactivate了，新的microSIM卡生效，号码不
变。你把新的microSIM卡拿出来，iPhone 4可以卖了。
现在，你手上有两张SIM卡，其实micro的这张是可用的。你有4个选择：
1，把新的microSIM卡装在你现在的手机上。但各种卡槽设计不一样，但只要能卡住，
就能用。我放在HTC TP2一点问题都没有。费用为0.
2, 去网上买一个adapter,把你的microSIM“扩大”为正常size的SIM卡。费用为3美金
左右。。
3，打电话给AT&T,叫他们给你activate你的老卡，费用$25.
4, 去AT&T local store,要张新SIM卡，估计费用也是$25.
个人推荐的次序就是按上面1234排了。
对了，不用担心什么电压问题，国内网上都是一群忽悠的。

总结：
两种管理模式区别的根源在于对市场本质的认识(或者说理念,信念):
* active management认为市场是失败的，无效的.
聪明人可以beat market，可以多赚钱。
* passive management认为市场是成功的，有效的，市场永远是胜利者
任何跟市场斗的人最后会被市场打倒。
经过研究，有很多证据证明，市场是有效的, passive比active好.
passive还有一个优势, 就是容易有预测性的做asset class investing.

网上没有APPROVAL这个选项啊，只有CARD PRODUCTION.
RENEW被据一般什理由啊，难不成是因为我用H1B？
USCIS上是这么写的：
