Don't know what kind of 教程 you got, if you trust their system, just follow
each step, you should be fine.
Many different material can be used to stick the tile to the wall, such as
thinset, mastic, some kind of adhesive. Not sure what kind of tile you use,
some light color natural stone (such as marble or onyx) need to use white or
light color thinset or mastic, dark (grey color) thinset will change the
color/look of the tile, glass tile also need special material.

adhesive aluminum mesh patch, 然后上joint compound (2)比较麻烦，用plaster
board补一块上去，事先要在里面固定一根木条。
我偏向于（1），但是就是因为是popcorn ceiling, 表面不光滑，不知道aluminm mesh
patch 沾的住么？这个洞大小是 6in x 6 in 不到点。

推荐我们
用一种垫子。他说，是他们LL的专利产品，就他们那有得卖。 叫ELATILON SELF-
ADHESIVE
UNDERLAY 说是先铺上这个垫子，再直接上木板，就象不干胶纸一样，一边贴，一边把
上面的皮拿掉。
这个垫子上是有粘性的，地板就这样粘连上去了。不要用GLUE ,NAIL。说是SOLID,
ENGINEERED
WOOD都可 50-70%FASTER THAN TRADITIONAL INSTALLATION。 被他说得心很动，毕竟一
大笔
人工不要了。这样就可以再买更好的材料啦。 有谁有这个经验？ |

发帖数: 1359 | 39 步骤如下，最好找个柜子门的背面练习一轮再动手。
1，取下门板，活页把手也取下来。
2，擦干净门板和柜身，然后用120～180号砂纸略微打磨，最后擦干净。手打就行了，
不用sander。
3，用旧t shirt布，沾gel stain糊一层到柜子上。我家没旧T shirt，就到walmart卖
漆的地方买了一包这样的布。general finishes 的 gel stain质地有点酸奶冰淇淋的
样子，刷不如把抹布糊来的方便。糊的厚颜色深的快，糊的浅要多糊几层，不过颜色可
能会均匀一些。我要的是很深的颜色，把oak的纹理全盖住，所以下手很厚。
4，晾一天，干了以后糊第二遍。第一遍后可能颜色会很不均匀，但是一般第二层后就
好了。
5，上三四层清漆。我用的也是general finishes的清漆。过程和上gel stain 基本相
同，只是清漆一层最好不要很厚，薄薄地多上几层光泽才好。
我家柜子只有门面是oak的，柜子的侧面和柜脚都是laminate。我买了self-adhesive
的oak veneer贴了才上漆。工程不难，但是很要细心耐心。 |

如果不是shower，修一块可以。水泥板厚度取决于周围其他瓷砖的厚度，保持新瓷砖换
上去之后跟其他的一个平面。用mortar或者adhesive都可以，grout填缝。
一半的瓷砖用tile saw切，数量不多的话，量好尺寸在lowes买好瓷砖让他们切，25分
一块。数量多的话可以买一个saw，便宜的50块左右。 |
