我刚开始postdoc不到半年，最近打算把phd dissertation 的内容分成2-3篇文章投出
去。我的文章内容都是完整的不需要补东西，而且当时写dissertation的时候也是按照
journal article format 写的，所以只需要再改一改投出去即可。那我的问题是 需要
挂Postdoc 老板的名字吗？
之所以问这个问题，是因为现在的老板她经常跟我抱怨之前的一个博后女生来工作之后
还继续跟phd老板做东西发文章，完全没有跟她讲，也没挂她名。她总是跟我抱怨的原
因无非是想告诫我不要重蹈覆辙。其实那个女生博后只做了不到一年，估计也就是跟
phd老板把以前的东西弄一弄发出去。
我老板的立场是这样，1）她并不在乎文章数量，她早已经full prof., 即使不能算大
牛的话也是做的风生水起，她是不在乎几篇co-author的文章的。2）她很生气她pay 你
博后工资，你帮别人做事。3）以前发生过同事看到她的博后发的文章没有挂她的名字
，问她咋回事，她觉得很没面子。4）后来她明确跟我说：在她这做就要专心，不要这

自己当first author&corresponding author。这篇文章纯粹是在以前博后时大学做的
，理所当然应该用以前大学作为affiliation单位。现在问题是我可以把我目前所在大
学加到affiliation里吗？这样对tenure有帮助吗？我博后老板也已经从以前的大学搬
走了。我或许应该和他商量可不可以这样，不过在这之前，还是想确认一下这是不是个
合理的建议。

这个学生胆子这么大 说谎一长串 换做你 怎么办？留他在系里 他以后会不会出类似的
问题？
我昨天也一直在思考这件事 也知道这样对学生影响很大 心里有不忍
但从我的角度说 确实有义务向学校汇报
从他的角度来说 他在美国呆过一年 应该知道这些行为的严重性 作为成年人需要为自

1. 对于这件事情我一开始的心情是愤怒的，当你面对一份电子版paper，affiliation
隐去，第二作者改掉，如果这是你招的学生，你的最好的猜测应该也是盗用paper吧？
为了能处理好这件事情，作为一个毫无这类经验的faculty，我选择了发帖求教。也非
常直白的表达我的心情，如下：
“一件让我震惊的事情 发现一个中国学生简历造假，99%肯定是这名学生用了另一个同
名学生的paper作为他的 publication”

同时，我一个感觉。对投到Infocom的main conference的文章的评审的政治色彩比较浓
。同样的文章缩写成6页的Infocom workshop文章后，评审就专注技术性评审了，要客
观多了，评审意见很是言之有物。
说白了，都是钱闹的。被接受到Infocom的main conference的文章对NSF的proposal是
有很大的加持作用的。基本上，好会议文章和funding是正反馈的关系。 |

如果 ebates 真的没从商家那拿回 commission，可能的原因是商家认为你的购买模式
有 Reselling 的嫌疑，所以拒绝 payout。
一个例子，之前有某个英文博客因为 amazon affiliated links 的流量太大，被
amazon 怀疑，然后就没有 payout，并且撤回了该博客的 affiliated links 的资格 |
