Local private sales.
I tried them and felt pretty good on loose snow (no powder last Sun). Boy,
they are fast! It's quite maneuverable consider its 120mm underfoot but
difficult to make small turns on hard-packed(chatters if edged hard). I'm
sure it will keep me afloat on deep Alta pow day :-D Good that I did not buy
188L Super7.

figure out what you want to do in hawaii first. most people don't go
to the beaches just to swim. For activities like kayaking, they will
give you a life jacket and you won't be swimming much unless your
kayak capsizes, in which case knowing how to tread water will make it
slightly easier to right the kayak if the water is deep.

今天练了一段时间的Switch Drills,慢道人多了,而且这段时间练drill也觉得有点
枯燥。跑到旁边去游自由泳,体会这些drill应该怎样帮助提高自由泳的streamline。
前段时间提出了一个观点,TI式自由泳前伸的手臂是斜向下的,因为这样利于引导转体
和重心前移。

今天发现leading arm在侧身滑行阶段向斜下方伸还有一个效果:可以帮助下肢浮起来
。要注意这是侧身滑行,不是平躺滑行。平躺滑行因为髋关节活动范围大,还是要用腰
背的肌肉力量把腿举起来,侧身时髋关节活动范围小,leading arm带着躯干往下一压
,靠韧带自然就把腿拉起来了。今天滑行时有部分大腿皮肤一度露出了水面。
固然腿下沉和leading arm下引在水中同样破坏streamline,都无法达到象漂在水面的
一根针一样的理想效果。可是我今天体会到腿自然浮起来,还有一个巨大的好处,就是
可以轻易减少无谓的打水,两次打水就水到渠成了。TI的书里介绍两次打水的时说好多

今天大部分时间是在游whole stroke swimming 体会这段时间练习给游泳姿势带来的变
化。
前次说了身体平衡以后,以前为了keep afloat不得不做一些动作,身体平衡以后,这
些耗费额外能量的动作都省了。
什么是自由泳的平衡?TI书里一再说明就是To be able to feel water is supporting
you.
今天发现身体平衡带来的另外一个好处是游得更放松、更自如,不需要用力的部位可以
充分休息,甚至有时可以变换身体发力前进的方式。比如今天有一会臀部感觉比较紧张
,可以在游泳过程中边游边放松一下臀部,抖一抖大腿之类,没有感觉一点不自然。我
认为是因为找到平衡以后,身体被水托住了,可以做想做的动作。
还有一个发现就是手往后划到大腿侧有两个好处。一个是关注点会移到大腿侧,腿下沉
会比较容易改善,还有一个是腿需要侧开,给手出水让出位置,这个就让下身随着上身
转体很自然地发生了。有时候我休息时喜欢观察别人游。游得好看的,感觉上身下身是
连贯一体的。游得不好看的上身下身是脱节的。有人上身转体很充分,髋部也转过来一

I couldn't really understand well about both "shoulder turn" and "follow
through" until I start watching those slow motion videos showing how FF hit
his forehand (backhand in particular, my fav!).
Very often I heard people saying that my "引拍不够“. Actually, if you pay
more attention to FF's pull back, you will find he does it very little or
none! Most time, he started forehand swing while the racquet was just
reaching his right hand side, no further pull back at all. He generates the

这首The A Team,讲的是一个为了白粉而祸害自己的美丽姑娘的故事。
我觉得是首挺悲催的歌,不太稀饭原版节奏,难得被我找到这个钢琴伴奏,于是根据我
自己的理解改了改,中间和结尾没印象原唱怎么唱的了,也是自己瞎改的。所以熟悉这
首歌的人莫笑 :D
本来想要不麻烦一下爵猫帮忙做后期,后来还是算了,大家都忙。自己凑合做了一下,
加了1个平衡1个auto reverb (咱也会加平衡了哈!)

其实去酒吧,不看酒水单,走到吧台直接点酒水,你会点吗?他们一般都有通用的名称
,而不一定是酒本身的名字。说一说我所知道的酒吧点酒常识。
一般酒吧或有酒吧执照的饭馆的酒水分几种:
1. highball (通常用的是普通的大玻璃杯)
烈酒liquor,甜酒liqueur和调酒用饮料mix(各种juice,soda,coke或milk)混合
的鸡尾酒。一般由1盎司的酒和相应的饮料勾兑而成。通常是house highball(酒店饭
店自己命名的鸡尾酒highball),或者其它一些通用的叫法,也是酒吧常见的鸡尾酒(
highball类的),比如 Tomcollins,John collins,Mai Tai,killer koolaid,
greyhound,screwdriver,seebreeze,zombie,sling,tequila sunrise,long
island iced tea, godfather, blue lagoon,(bartender’s) rootbeer(跟beer
无关) 等等很多名字。

问题是我也是搞物理的,曾经。hehe.
如果容器做成仅比木头大那么一点,而且形状一样,一公斤水都不用,理论上只要满足
水分子能铺排整个木头表面就能浮起来。
你们这些文科物理学家,“the wood block may sink too deep to touch the bottom
before displace enough water to stay afloat”。。。
好歹还知道浮不浮起来取决于没于水下的深度,或者说排水体积。可是这些和声下多少
水没有关系。
