好，他决
定给我OFFER，然后给我讲了下待遇，问我何时能上班。
一直到今天HR才跟我联系，并且只是跟我CONFIRM了一下我的个人资料，正式的OFFER
LETTER还
没收到呢。
因为我实际上属于内部REFER的，就是有一个我们学校的ALUMNUS在那里上班，有了空职
位之后，就
写信给我们系里的秘书，秘书群发后，我直接email resume 给的这个alumnus。然后是
director 第一轮电话面试， team leader 第二轮电话面试，然后给了一套测试题。然
后才是
HR给我联系，通知我去onsite。HR第一次跟我联系的时候，还非常confused的问我说，
你是哪里
冒出来的，我这里都没有你的申请资料。然后又让我重新网上申请了一下。 |

terms becoming unisex. However, it is still important to distinguish between
one alumnus and a stadium full of alumni. Never say, “I am an alumni” if
you don’t want to cast discredit on your school. Many avoid the whole
problem by resorting to the informal abbreviation “alum.”

My friend, I mentioned her before, graduated from a Chicago magnet HS.
During her first college interview, she found out that the alumnus did not
know much truth of history, so my friend talked a lot about truth she leared
at high school. The alumnus said I did not know that.
In the following all interviews, she talked a lot truth, and those college
graduated were impressed. One of them was the VP of a hospital in Chicago. |

作为对版上xdjm的回馈，我就把学校系统里的一些新出炉的full-time position帮忙复
制出来，个人觉得都不是什么太好的工作,因为已经过了recruite的高峰期。

生，假冒MD---别给我说MD这里的意思是医生，英文中“医生”另有一个专用词
Physician。若自称Doctor xxx就是指有医学博士（MD）学位的医生，没有MD学位就只
能自称Physician。
这位SD Yan明显没有美国MD学位，虽然她自称received her M.D. from Fujian
Medical University in 1983，但我们都知道，1983年时中国福建医学院根本不能授医
学博士学位，她得到的只能是医学士（MB）学位。她若诚实，就应该跟饶毅一样，老老
实实自称MB。
可能她自己也知道她这个MD是faked，所以，在她现在的faculty个人网页上，她无法象
其他美国人一样列出获得M.D.学位的学校和年代，这一栏空白。但为了能够自称Dr.
Yan，她只好在下面的文字介绍中含糊自称received her M.D. from Fujian Medical
University in 1983。。。这就是中国假MD的悲哀。

The official position is that legacy does not increase admission chances.
Admissions staff at MIT has said that the Dean of Admissions will give
legacy rejects a once-over to see if there was an egregious error as a
courtesy to alumni parents. Even so, having a grandfather alumnus is not
typically thought of as a legacy.
