along with moisture packs) to store ammo. Check these out:

Blazer Aluminum ammo. Their prices are good, but what's even better is that
shipping is a flat $4.95 no matter what you order.
This stuff is aluminum cased. It's not reloadable like brass, but I think
it's better than the steel cased stuff like Tula/Wolf. And this stuff is
factory loaded, not reloads.

there. I've looked and looked and have been waiting for months for a " seems
its not to be. So I've gone with this the best current price. With the
rising costs of metals and the devaluing of the dollar(affects buying ammo
made overseas) this might be the best price for awhile. In a sealed spam can
which is a plus(unless you open it up to find some rocks inside instead of

heavier grain loads which is nice for CCW, or in the case of the .454 Casull
300gr, nice to blow up cars ).

AE223 Ammo. It is on sale for $5.79 per box of 20 rounds. That works out
to 29 cents a round or $289.50 for 1000 rounds(50 boxes). Shipping is $18.

couldn't comment much since I didn't have any 1st hand experience.
Now that I did pick up (from Dick's) and shot some of these Russia made 9mm
ammo, I can surely say that these ammo work just fine with G-19.
Just a feedback to the board after I used one 'the worst bullets in reviews'. |

check if his ammo has any weird appearance, say defects or slightly bigger
or longer (doubled loaded), and force that bullet into the chamber. I check
every ammo I put into the magazines - learned that from the book of "Combat
Pistols", which says almost every ammo manufactures can have these kinds of
issues. |

anyways) for $3.79 for 20 rds in both .223 and 7.62x39. This works out to $
189.50 for 1000 rds. This ammo is considered pretty decent non-corrosive
ammo with VERY minimal misfires. Accuracy is questionable but at this price
its great for plinking. Also to make the deal sweet use coupon DADSDAY for
$5.00 shipping over $150.00 and unlike other coupons it looks like you don'
t have to pay for over-sized items.

even with coupons and everything).
CCI Blazer and/or CCI Minimags are usually listed as recommended ammunition
for many .22LR pistols, which tend to be very finicky with ammo. Whether
you want to break in that new .22 or just use ammo that it will like, this
is a good choice and is relatively cheap.

ones will have the same problem, no matter they are steel cores or lead
cores.
The reason is where the bullet touches the bore is its "coat", which is made
by steel for most of the surplus ammo and some of the commercial ammo, even
the yellow tip one you mentioned above, the coat of the bullet is still
steel. Only some expensive ones have the brass coat for bullets

45 which is called high power ammo. Definitely they have different
penetration power. Also, hollow point ammo should definitely cause much
worse wound than the same caliber full metal jacket one, while it should
have less penetration power on the other hand. |
