我愁的不是麦克风线，而是需要把音频从hdmi切换到analog
回来receiver上看了一下，source里有切换到analog的选项
以后要唱之前，先需要进行以下几项工作：电脑里把声音设备从显卡换成声卡；
receiver里把输入从hdmi换成analog
问题是receiver里只写了analog，没写哪一个。难道所有analog都是相通的？？ |

他家很多年analog销售额持续增长。
本来2006还是业界无线老大。去年无线不行之后，结果analog的增长补上来了。
现在TI说基础要放在analog上。我觉得这是很正确的方向。
高性能的analog,一般公司就算你有工具，有知识，也未必能做好。
拿我国来说，我听国内的一个老教授说，中国目前连性能稍好的锁相环之类的
都无法量产。而且还看不到解决的前途。(当然可以生产，但是良品率太低，
成本算下来，还不如买国外公司的)。
另外，digitial芯片周围平均下来肯定好几个analog的芯片，锁相环，
电源，功率管理之类的等等，这些用量其实挺大的,而且没有技术积累不好做。
要我说，美国半导体今后的支撑除了CPU,就是高性能通用模拟芯片这块了。
其他的肯定都是被中国灭。

系里要求找一个major professor，我也确实想进research group积累一点经验，为将
来工作
或者读Phd积攒一点资本。现有几个老师供选择，望高人指点一二。
我上了两门关于VLSI的课，一门是analog/mixed signal，一门digital。
analog由A老师上课，A老师是中国大陆人。
digital由来自香港的B老师上课。
A和B都是Associate professor, 如前所言，A搞analog design，B主要以写verilog为
主。
另还有Professor C, 老美, 和A是一个group，两人一起带学生。C是我系我方向大牛，
前系主
任，前某杂志chair，fellow，据说手里funding也比较足。
目前我对analog和digital都挺感兴趣，没有喜欢哪个讨厌哪个。只是感觉analog更难而
digital更繁一些。关于今后是工作还是Phd，我也都不排斥。
所以有几个问题请教。

我现在还不确定是读VLSI还是Analog/RFIC 方向。都说VLSI的master很好找工作。而
Analog IC是个大坑.但是自己对两个都很感兴趣，其实是因为本科很泛，都没深入.不
知道该如何选择. 不过analog IC更prefer一些。
然后就是location，location，location的口号，搞的很多人都转CS了。虽说对编程很
感兴趣，但还是想把IC的本行坚持下去。只是不知道analog IC MS的大坑容不容得下我
。还想问一下,MS应该如何规划好选课.自己的经验是只要一开始没走顺,后面的节奏就
给打乱了.很难受.所以新的学校,新的开始.一定要开个好头.
学校是30学分毕业。每学期最少9分。也就是3学期毕业，最后一个学期去实验室或者
intern转long contract。那每个学期应该怎么选课呢，是选个想去的实验室的老板的
课还是把core course（3门基础课）上完，后面都是上专业课；还是每个学期都上专业
课，只要搭配一门core course即可？
想把感兴趣的prof的课上好，然后求加实验室。

codec有digital－to－analog converter（DAC）和analog－to－digital converter（
ADC）。ADC用与microphone转换数码给processor。DAC把数码转换给analog，输给
headphone。以前技术是180nm，现在是55nm。 QUALCOMM应该已经把codec集成到他的芯
片，因为更小的cmos技术对analog不会有太大的印象。
还有digital microphone是把ADC analog front－end和mems结合一块在microphone里
， 这样adc只需要有back－end digital功能，所以用dmic，adc不需要了， digital处
理直接到processor。这也是为什么公司要搞dmic
speaker放大器用高压process，比较难被集成。iPhone6应该还用cirrus 的，不过iPad
应该是maxim 了。一年多前放大器产品出现质量问题，导致果果考虑其他公司

my Lexicon receiver.
1. yes, lossless is always better than the lossy DTS/DD ,but whether you can
tell the difference or not depending on your system and your ear.
2. typically blu-ray player can mixed the 7.1 into 5.1 output, at least my
oppo player does it.
but I don't recommend using analog output to receiver because of the extra A
/D convert process unless your receiver is excellent doing A/D convert.

以用电视的analog输出。如果你电视只有optical 或coax digital out, 那你有两个选
择。一个选择是买个便宜的十几刀的外置DAC，其analog out 连到stereo amplifier。
第二个选择是买个带内置DAC的digital stereo amplifier (一般也含analog输入），
然后电视的optical 或coax out 连到这个amplifier 上。我用的放大器是带内置DAC的

现在想找RF analog/ASIC design&validation方向工作。
有ARM Linux processor上Driver经验，Digital IC 方向会verilog，测试方向会基本
的TCL，Perl（non-expert）
平时做的Analog/RF/Mixed Signal IC 居多，PLL，ADC，PA，LNA什么的都有
schematics/Layout经验,各种网络系统WIFI，WLAN，LTE什么的也了解。
MS期间做的项目主要是个RF IC的develop & test & debug，历时一年，为一个Analog-
Digital IC（88 pins）做的测试，Cadence 仿真+实际测试，包括DC，noise，ADC
Function test。设计了这个测试IC PCB，四层板，Analog部分非常Sensitive。板子出
来后调试加测试。唯一比较牛的点是这大项目是NASA赞助的，当然我也只负责一小部分

者是emulated. analog 应该是从analogy里演化出来的吧？而analogy 有similarity,
parallelism，也就是有类次，平衡的意思吧？所以，我觉得类比比较贴切些。 |

大部分生物毒素一般都能归入两大类：肽类analog 或者核酸analog,
因为这方面的原材料丰富，制造起来比较容易（如果要从头造一个有毒物质的
话必须从头到尾造一套酶，太麻烦了），
而且肽类analog 或者核酸analog因为容易和靶对象里面的正常物质混淆，
所以能够比较轻易的让对方吸收后，搞乱对方的正常生物process而中毒。
在蘑菇产生的小肽类毒物里面，的确有一大类是receptor ligand,
比方说很多神经毒素。
小肽modification 里面最常见的就是内部环状化，还有很多其他方法。
这个主要是我以前读研究生的时候由于某些因素接触过这些内容，
看了很多匪夷所思的结构，觉得那些蘑菇们实在是心眼太坏了～～～ |

没别的, analog不是几个牛designer就能搞定的. 从前端到后端, 到质量和
可靠性, 到工艺, 哪个不要长期的实际经验积累. 所谓analog的outsource,
如果不是整条产业链都转出去, 规模也很有限. 就象胡伟武开会说的, 模拟
器是骗人的, FPGA是骗人的, 教科书也是骗人的. 等看到中国开始有比较厉
害的本土analog企业了, 那时再考虑全盘outsource也不迟. |

actually looking for career path suggestions.

2. System engineering
Your other background (DSP) will be of little use, if you choose to do
analog IC design. Mixed-signal IC design can actually use some of your DSP
background. Also, analog IC design is very different from analog board level
design, once you choose the system engineering route, there is no way to go
back.

但市场上的供求关系决定了就业情况。人人都说analog ic designer职业寿命长，越老
越吃香，入门门槛还不抵，给新人机会实在不多。
analog/rf ic 在现在的consumer electronics的应用还是太窄了。
还有，research也不容易，周期还长。
说句实话，学得东西还窄。你说，优秀的analog/rf ic designer是拿着铅笔，橡皮和纸
完成design的，simulation tool就是验证一下结果，无论是你用spectre, hspice还是
其他的。
听起来很酷。可这年头，你的resume上不填上18般武艺，可能连hr key word filter都
过不了。
说实话，要学，也建议学analog/mixed-signal这块 |

我就比较疑问了，难道硕士，PhD毕业（比美国小本知识强很多），难道毕业也是码工
？比如CS PhD毕业，企业会不会更重用你呢？
“爬上管理XX”，每年CS毕业生就业那么多，肯定只有少数人爬上去吧，难道10年前的
编程前辈，今天因为没有“爬上去”就失业了？
我本来想过往软件这坑里跳呢，但一想：我读完PHD也得挺大年龄了，按照她的说法，

NCSU的analog/rf一般。
Alex Huang很牛，不过不怎么做电路。
有一个做RF的老师，可能RF好一点。
analog好像就没有其他老师了，
digital的老师就不算了
OSU有Ismail在那儿，
analog的master不是那么好的工作，特别是普通学校。
analog,相对EE里面其他专业要好一点，但比CS差远了 |

结果发现芯片公司里都是market 和product test部门drive，analog designer基本最
底层打工的。岂不知离地三尺就不用碰cadence了 写写slides赚的比做模拟的还多。你
发明一个牛逼的结构 测试出身的vp连你是谁都不知道 don't give a shit .当然如果
产品出问题 analog designer可以用来擦屁股。于是发现原来analog designer是这里
地位最低，又自以为最牛的
上面贴子谈论了这么多做模拟的发展前途 是不是太书生气了太傻逼了？ |
