《美国化学会OMEGA刊（ACS Omega）》一篇报告说，墨汁对于癌症向淋巴结的扩散和转
移，具有非侵入性的治疗作用，也就是说墨汁是一种不会给患者造成伤害的有效抗癌药
物。
癌细胞经常会从淋巴管向病灶外转移。对此，西方医学主要使用手术切除方法进行治疗
，但是副作用大，而且无法控制复发。因此，近年来出现非侵入性光热疗法（PTT）来
抗击癌细胞转移。
该方法使用纳米材料来杀死癌细胞，但是这些纳米材料有毒、难以加工生产和价格昂贵。
但是，科学家发现中国墨汁具有类似光热疗法纳米材料的作用，却无毒且价格便宜，有
用于治疗癌症的潜力。
中国墨汁的制备原理是煤烟、松烟与明胶等混合，也就是制成碳元素、水和胶的混合物
