Angel Island是San Francisco Bay中的一座小岛，风景秀丽，
不但可以看到整个三番市的downtown skyline，天气好的时候
可以看到整个湾区的五座大桥（“five-bridge day”）。这座小岛
同时还有许多历史遗迹，早期的中国移民来到美国的第一站就
是要在这个小岛被关上一段。
这次hiking全程5 miles，起伏约 800 feet，几乎没有什么难度。

一般，用大个子的话来说，
看过Havasupai falls，再看什么瀑布都不会太好看了。
继续东行，本来想先去Elwa看Hot Spring的，不过那个trail有5迈，我们又想天黑前赶

的特色就在於廣大，就以LA County(洛杉磯郡)來說，4061 square miles
是紐約市五個County總和303.3 square miles的十倍以上大小，是San
Francisco County(舊金山郡)46.7 square miles的近百倍大小（約是87
倍），是台灣島的1/3到1/4大小，如果再計入Greater Los Angeles大洛
杉磯都會區的範圍，例如：Orange County(OC)、Ventura County、Riverside
County、San Bernadino County等，就成為一片極其廣大的都市地區。
在這裡，居民絕大多數開車過生活，擁有全美最龐大的Highway System，
這和紐約擁有全美最龐大的地鐵系統，居民大多乘坐大眾運輸工具，剛好
是一個強烈的對比，來這邊玩，可能租車會比較容易，或是有朋友帶，不
然要依靠大眾運輸系統是相對較困難的，不過大部分的地方也 |
