即使是在共和党无望胜利的位置，我还是希望华人能够团结一心去投共和党，而不是去
投一个“不太坏”的民主党。说实话，华人的人口很少，其实很难靠选票来一下子改变
选举结果。但是选举后的分析如果显示华人把票都投给了共和党，这会是一个明显的信
号。而如果华人的票还是给了民主党，不管是哪个人，民主党都会认为华人还是那个任
他们宰割的乌合之众。
有些民主党员同时也得到了共和党的推荐，应该算是比较中间派的。
以下位置，没有提到党派的都是共和党。没有推荐的职位请尽量选共和党。

取消AA，亚裔入学人数大幅增加，白人只是有小幅增加。 希望加州能投票的中国人都

要严格，管理要松一些的 - 我说管制严，管理松 - 因为美国不要license, 但是用一

今天San Jose大雨，又是工作日，但没有因此阻挡大家会见25区议员Bob Wieckowski
Staff的热情。小小的房间挤满了近30人。世界日报的周记者也来了，相信很快大家就
能看到相关报道。
一个小时的会见沟通，还是比较有成效的，清晰明确地传递了我们的信息，也得到Bob
office staff的一些建议。这次虽然召集时间只有一天多，而且下大雨，但大家配合
很好，有情绪激动的Mama Bear，有拿数据说话并做足功课的男生，有交书面信件和传
单的，有show收集签名的。大家口才和思维都很不错。Staff盛赞，说我们都是做足了
功课去的，而且非常organized。

比如这样一个情形
三个被骂的华裔或者河南的字或者任何一个参议员动议把sca5从assembly召回senator
，这是对打击诉求的回应，为民主党做damage control，但是实质效果如何？
我们要想，那么assembly同意让sca5回去senate吗？ 因为Sen. Ron Calderon被抓，民
主党很可能失去super majority，重新投票，那么sca5回去可能就是死了
所以民主党在assembly可能会把sca5搁置在assembly，啥都不干，等咱们热情下降
接着，再撤销召回动议，把sca5在assembly放生过委员会，偷袭投票
这样做还有一个好处，大家是否知道今年今年初选报名截止日马上到了？所以暂缓一下
也有利于降低初选压力 |

华人欢庆新年之际，SCA-5 号提案却给欢乐中的亚裔们浇了一盆冷水：此提案已在1/30
/2014参议院(State Senator)27票赞成，9票 http://legiscan.com/CA/bill/SCA5/2013 下一步即将提到州众议院投票。此提案如果在州众议会（State Assembly）获得通过，将於今年11月公投，决定是否恢复在加大校园中实行所谓的以种族等为标准划界的入学措施。鉴于目前加大（UC）各校亚裔学生比例，远超过加州亚裔人口比例，一旦公投通过，加大亚裔入学人数势必受到排挤。各级亚裔民意代表与民权团体，应尽速表明反对立场，勿使亚裔子弟成为种族歧视的牺牲品。
美国宪法第14修正案明确规定，任何州都不可以立法拒绝对所有公民的平等保护。SCA-
5 是错误并违反美国宪法的，是一个赤裸裸的种族歧视的法案。

今天San Jose大雨，又是工作日，但没有因此阻挡大家会见25区议员Bob Wieckowski
Staff的热情。小小的房间挤满了近30人。世界日报的周记者也来了，相信很快大家就

一个小时的会见沟通，还是比较有成效的，清晰明确地传递了我们的信息，也得到Bob
office staff的一些建议。这次虽然召集时间只有一天多，而且下大雨，但大家配合
很好，有情绪激动的Mama Bear，有拿数据说话并做足功课的男生，有交书面信件和传
单的，有show收集签名的。大家口才和思维都很不错。Staff盛赞，说我们都是做足了
功课去的，而且非常organized。

1. SCA5的后续时间表还没有出来，现在的状态是已通过senate，送到assembly阅读、
讨论，之后Assembly投票，如果Assembly投票通过，则进入公投阶段。预计的公投时间
是在2016年11月左右。这是预计的时间，并不确定。Assembly投票的时间也没有确定。
Staff表示，一旦他们知晓时间表，会尽量通知大家。但还是不能完全依靠staff，我们
自己一定要紧盯。
2. SCA5一旦通过公投，将直接变成法律，州长无权改变或撤销。

涉及立法程序问题，还可能涉及最近Sen. Ron Calderon被抓的事情
比如这样一个情形
三个被骂的华裔或者河南的字或者任何一个参议员动议把sca5从assembly召回senator
，这是对打击诉求的回应，为民主党做damage control，但是实质效果如何？
我们要想，那么assembly同意让sca5回去senate吗？ 因为Sen. Ron Calderon被抓，民
主党很可能失去super majority，重新投票，那么sca5回去可能就是死了
所以民主党在assembly可能会把sca5搁置在assembly，啥都不干，等咱们热情下降
接着，再撤销召回动议，把sca5在assembly放生过委员会，偷袭投票

我屡次被问及，为什么你要竞选Assembly 席位呢？
六个月之前就有人劝我参选了，我当时还没有下决心。我刚刚结束了在Saratoga City
历时八年的任期，其中两年我担任的是市长的职务。我对我所任公职期间的成就颇为自
豪。我帮助了很多背景迥异的来自不同国家的人们。为公众服务是我所热爱的事业。
