明显好转，只能起到不再恶化／发炎等效果。而且好像大部分这类药水都是治疗
athelete foot 的，治疗手指甲的很少。
有没有一种能够治好灰指甲的药，是针对手指甲的？ |

自打扁豆认字，我们就开始给他买书。先是一般的 Board Books，属于增长词汇量的那
种。买的第一套丛书是 Disney's Wonderful World of Reading，包括 The Lion King
, Mulan, Pocahontas, 等等。正好家里有 Disney 的录像带，就一起看了。
另一套书是 I Can Read It All by Myself Beginner Books by Dr. Seuss，其中著名
的有One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish, Are You My Mother?, The Cat in the

记得前一阵还闹过Stanford (好像是）关于athlete 的“丑闻”。说是那些athlete能
从athelet student center (??)拿到一份course list (for the classes that can
be passed easily)。 不过官方否认，说那是高年级生传下来的，又有说某些课可能照
顾到运动员的schedule. |

说政治成就吧，CalTech没有出过美国总统
说金融成就吧，endowment per student比BC, Purdue还低（这是per student，总量的
话更低了，不过他们人少，所以这里只看人均）
比赛书呆子这个我承认，CalTech非常厉害，所以说Sheldon选择在那里生活，CalTech
篮球队有超过200场的losing streak记录，非常霸气
诺贝尔Caltech也非常厉害，Pauling就是CalTech的
所以就是看标准，Caltech是典型的只关注学术的学校，没有atheletic admission，没
有legacy admission，导致亚裔爆满
是做总统，赚大钱更好？还是多发paper，拿Nobel更好？
见仁见智，就我目测来看，更多人宁愿做总统、赚大钱 |

perform it in olympics.
too bad judges don't care too much abt difficulty of the jumps, as seen in
men's figure skating. (quad wasn't valued much)
for the sake of figure skating's future, i hope atheletes can keep
challenging to more difficult routine, rather than playing conservative,
relying on completion score and subjective "interpretation of music" score...

盼星星，盼月亮，终于盼来了3.5第一场单打，本版唯一不被鄙视的比赛
没耐心看我唠叨的先看一下比分 6:2 6:7 (5:7) 0:1 (5:10)
很可惜最后super tiebreaker输掉了。但是，尽力了，也学到了很多东西。
上周跟队长写信想打单打，没想到队长爽快答应，很开心，开始科研对方队伍，
结果发现对方是一支全胜的联盟第一的队伍，赢对方的比分也都是切菜一样的，
和我们club 3.0那个队伍有些类似。更高兴了，能跟这样的队伍比，更能检验
自己的实力也应该更有意思。
今天对方是一个老莫小孩，非常atheletic，目测20上下。
上来后也不要来回rally一下啥的就要开始了。一打开就发现，这是一超级暴力动作优
美猛男。和我们几个固定球友里俩暴力男很类似。好在我和这种球友常年对打，倒也不

有几点建议提出来，希望对seattle和接下来的斗争有帮助。
1.要明确主题，争取变被动为主动。
今天我一直在ferry building一带，敌方势力强大，而且有ZD, Anti-China for human
rights violation, for Darfur, for Burma等等攻击面。我方单独就go China, go
Beijing进行口号反击，相对单薄被动。
早间C-Span里US house的一个Michigan的congressman(not sure)在他的one minute
speech里这么说的：（俺记不住原话啊）

-campus, save a lot if live at home
* misc: depends on the distance traveling to the college, buy used book or
not, going out frequently or not

Ivy, Stanford, USC and other popular private schools: $40K and up, and
increase at a rate of 3%~5% yearly.
UC: about 10K, Regents has warned of 30% tuition hike

The following is just part of my personal opinion, may not be right since
every case is special,
If she can still walk, I would suggest bringing her here, usually people can
survivee 3-5 years depend on the condition(talk with the doctor and find
more details). Do not make yourself regret.

dark night in winter you have to not to hate.
Culture wise,very liberal. It is more asian than western. Many southeast
Asian, Indians.In many sense, I think Shanghai is more western than Seattle,
no kidding. People drive clueless on Hwy, I mean people drive Prius and
leaf on left lane at speed of 60mph or recently landed Asian lady driving MB

Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, run 3-5 miles either outdoors or in the
gym. Then stretch muscles.
Every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, ride a stationary bike plus walk on
the treadmill for at least an hour combined. Push irons. Do situps and
pullups in the gym.
On Sunday, play 2 hr of full-court, pick-up games with a bunch of equally
atheletic friends. I have many bruises and scars to show for it.

里对自己文化的蔑视，长期导致的现象。
另外一个相似现象是，老中的孩子是各族裔孩子中说自己的语言最差的。我没见过几个
老中的孩子能说流利的中文，但是知道很多法国，德国，希腊的孩子，大人，英语和原
国家的语言说的都很流利。西班牙裔的，几乎没有人不会说西班牙语。
肯定会有老中说，哎呀我们的语言和英语差别太大，不像欧洲的语言。我要说，BS！这
不是语言的问题，而是mental的问题。有几个老中能做到要求孩子必须好好学习中文，
在家必须中文？最可笑的是居然还有老中怕孩子学不好英语，从小就在家和孩子说自己
那蹩脚的英语，整天把athelete发音成asslete，thick发音成sick。 |

心里就有底了,这是一对女生比较强男生比较弱的组合.只要把球打后场的两个角便可
确保胜局.第一局刚打了七八分的样子,组委会的人却赶来终止了比赛.他们说北极熊比赛
有规定,如果选手同时报两个组然后在高的那组打到前四后,低的那组就不能再打了.我们
C,D都进了前四,所以D组就不能再打了.
cuteniu很吃惊,因为她知道她的一个MM队友刚拿了C,D组的女单冠军.不过规矩是人家
定的,也没办法了,只好缴枪就范.
D组不让打,C组的半决赛就是背水一战了.对手是berkeley的一对选手,实力不俗.
moccabubble都对对方男生表示认可.第一局一开始就很艰苦.对方男生实力很强,正手位
的平抽或是攻击威力很大.而我有一些crosscourt的球因为不到位被对手赶到攻击.
对方男生还表演过一次后场横飞头顶区截杀我的球,非常atheletic.
对方女生稍弱,凭着这一点我们艰难的咬住对方不让他们领先太多.第一局敌人先领先
4,5分的样子到了19,我发球连追了几分到18:19,但发球下网18:20.敌人发球,c |

highest level robot is the best way to measure this.
one could argue using the robot whose level is at mean is more fair?
and if there was a 9d robot, your first 3 years of training would result in
almost no gain? that would also dis-prove the assumption that earliest
learning results in more gain.
at the end of the day, there is NO measurement for level. and it is very

YM 当务之急是全面提升他的ATHELETISM.
YM的耐力是大问题, 体力好的时候场上表现一流.
可惜他连48分钟维持这种状态目前都做不到. 更
不要讲BACK TO BACK的客场了.现在NBA中那些
板凳不够的队绝对主力往往要保证能全力打好
30甚至40分钟以上.
YM的运动能力并不强,这是他母亲在被采访时说的.
他的身高手感和意识是一流的,打球肯动脑筋. 但
是他的弹跳和速度一般, 亚运会上面对老韩快速
凶狠的贴身逼抢就很不适应.
YM现在没有绝活.老瓦拍马屁时不停提猛人名字,其实
YM很多是在模仿牛人,远没到得心应手的地步.
如果别人在场上用尽下三烂手段,他还能基本发挥正常,
还差不多.凡是成名的大牛们很多人NICKNAME就
能猜出他的武器.
现在YM也开始强硬了,以后我猜他会更多的DUNK.
在NBA, NICE=无用,不玩儿狠的只有受气的分.

is very poor at jump shooting, ball handling, although he is very explosive,
very atheletic, which made him player of the year in 2002.
and sam got waived by sixers because of his knee injury, not his ability. he
had knee repair surgery in 2002, apparently he can't overcome it.
david is kind of big for sf, nice shooting touch, good post up and ball
handling.

爹妈给你个好基因让你足够高壮足够atheletic,你就是没啥heart一样照打nba.
最后,即便有些人曾经勤奋曾经有heart过,那么如果他们这么做
不是出于对篮球的热爱,而是出于追逐利益,
这种人在进了nba之后仍然可以很容易的失去这些特质. |
