的atheros做的。真正集成的好的只有一家，是apple，三星也不怎么样。nvidia最近买
了一个做基带的英国公司，看他们tegra4集成的怎么样了。集成真不是那么好搞的。 |

湾区的Q家确实有LTE的system组我很肯定，不是atheros。Q和B两边的工作内容大致上
是相似的，PHY/MAC。这些positions是Phd preferred，我也有点担心去了Q会被鄙视，
或者做一些边边角角的工作？这个也许要问一下，可是也未必问的清楚。。。
B的好处是我知道做的是核心，而且整个system组不大，老板对我也算是苦口婆心，很
照顾。可是当初找工作的时候，Q的这个职位是列在dream offer的位置了，感性上很想
去，所以比较来比较去就格外纠结。说起来挺矫情，可是最近很烦，一点也没有当初拿
到offer的兴奋了。 |

一个小公司，100来人，看起来做得不错，可股票只给15K。我们组是report给CTO的，

principle，估计也是刚开始管人。位置主要是做无线系统的测试分析，和改进
performance有关的算法，也会有些coding。CTO和VP Engr是两个美国人，看起来都挺
好相处；要管我的principle是个中国人，女，看起来也不错，估计也愿意招我这么个
中国人。
另一个是Atheros，已经IPO了，大概1000来号人。MAC algorithm engineer，manager
是个美国人，也很nice，目前他手下只有一个两年前招的小印。工作也是既有算法研究
也有实际的coding and bug fix， 不过这里是用在chip |

我也一直坚持Atheros的无线网卡比intel的好，虽然我没用过5系列。
对于一款标榜移动性和续航的笔记本来讲，低功耗的cpu才是王道。
至于平时使用差别区别，除非ssd，否则都差不多。
升级内存，保持系统的干净稳定才是决定因素。 |
