当然严格说跟lawyer等价的是attorney-at-law。另外还有attorney-in-fact，是指持
有代理许可（power of attorney）的代理人，不一定是律师。
当然有些词组固定搭配只能用attorney，比如attorney general, district attorney
，你不能说lawyer general或district lawyer，虽然意思就是lawyer。 |

有些州，比如纽约，前两者可以是同一个人或者机构，称为dual Agent，但需要buyer

程没有法律问题；而lender的attorney是lender雇佣的attorney（一般都有合作关系）
，这个attorney在把loan documents送给escrow/title之前先要review所有的和贷款有
关的材料，保护lender不会有法律问题（尤其是州法），例如像德州，由于州法特别严
，所以lender要专门雇佣attorney来保护自己。 |

片或者是我曾经做过的项目。
因为我的文章和引用都不多，所以抱着试一试的心态决定自己准备EB1A，当时也参考了
版上好多的资源和朋友的经验。自己准备了6封推荐信，其中4封independent。赶在费
用上涨前提交了140，在Trump就职前追加了PP.

off the market, the status is under contracted.
During attorney review, the property is still available for showing. Both
the seller and buyer can get out of the contract and no questions are asked.
If the seller change their mind during attorney review, the buyer will
wasted their inspection fee. I don't know why your attorney want you to do
inspection during attorney review. |

amendment，里面又添加了快20条条款，有些我们看了也不太懂什么意思。
譬如：
本来我们的contract里面说的是attorney review done之后的10天之内给人the second
deposit（房价的10%，快6万），在这个添加的协议里，人家seller提出来必须是
attorney review done后
的3天之内给他们房价的10%的这部分deposit。
还说什么为了要获得certificat of occupancy or other governmental approval，
seller只出500块的费用，超过的都由我们自己付，否则seller may cancel the
contract。
还有好多其他让人不知道是什么的条款。
请问当时你们买房也有这么多条追加协议吗？真的感觉seller追加的也太多了，我们好
多都不明白这些追加条款会对我们有什么不利影响。
我们会跟我们的律师谈，但是想问问大家的经验，seller加了这么多正常么？

in the whole process, my attorney didn't contact me once after I called and
told him "let us start". The attorney send the addendum to my broker
without my approval, and my broker didn't forward to me either. After
receiving the seller's revision letter back, the attorney simply stamped "
accepted" and my broker told me the attorney review was officially finished.
I asked my broker what is the status and got replied "everything on track,

我有些申请资料想变更，寄到了NVC。过了几个礼拜没消息，律师说另外一种方式是
email给NVC attorney account，但“but it was that account that told me to
email the materials to the account I emailed most recently with your
documentation. Otherwise, we could try mailing your materials, but that
seems inefficient. Would you like me to try our luck with the attorney
account?”
不太明白上面这话什么意思？有没有人知道这个attorney account是做什么的？我应该
让律师再把材料寄给这个NVC attorney account一次吗？

asking for attorney's name from bank. My loan officer told me they have not
assigned me an attorney yet.
When should bank attorney involve in the loan? What could be the reason

contract, 原来的offer没有具体说能与不能，但是seller在attorney review阶段加了
句话，
说buyer 在attorney review正式结束后三个工作日内可以cancel 合同。我的律师收到
就直接接受了（自始至终没有和我任何沟通）。
我的agent今天forward给我卖房和其律师分别的修改条款，才发现我的律师没有和我进
行任何
沟通，没有征得我的同意，没有发给我合同的修改内容，没有转发给我，甚至把我妻子
