I can see what you are saying is very true...and I'm not surprised..just
wondering if it's the same everywhere..
I met with some major bank IA department when I graduate, I think they
have liked an official IA rotational program, which you can switch to
something else in like 3 years....
btw, I think a Fortune 500 CEO used to be an internal auditor...

很多金融公司有单独的做ＳＯＸ和ｃｏｍｐｌｉａｎｃｅ的部门，ＩＡ的ＶＰ对下面人
的期望值不是control testing, 更多的是process improvement.
ＩＡ和会计／external auditor不同的是很多时候你手上没有正确和错误的尺度，你也
没有一个标准化的程序来每一个项目因为每个area的流程不同。我个人认为IA不是很适
合中国人做的，你需要有雄辩的口才才能做上去。
不过公司加班比ｂｉｇ ４少多了。
既然你有ＣＦＡ，ＣＰＡ，可以试一试external reporting, portfolio pricing and
valuation, financial analyst etc...

金融服务的审计，地点：纽约time square. 从纽约这个城市的角度讲，工资微薄。貌
似客户主要在wall street?
众apartments看来看去，single br/studio在Manhanttan少则1500/月,多则$$$$.固只
有找roomie来share的命了？
north jersey/Brooklyn很多人住，但还要考虑距离和半夜加班独自回程的安全问题。
粗粗一算，头顶一个光鲜的四大title，身处喧嚣都市,每个月付完房租扣完税，兜里剩

Walmart 北美总部在 Bentonville AR,本人对这个地方实在觉得没有太大吸引力的。但
是又觉得全球第一大公司的Staff Internal Auditor的机会能学到不少东西。不知道大
家觉得值得不值得去争取这个机会，待两年然后回到西海岸好呢，还是就在西海岸一就
一找工作。我目前没有身份的限制，但是因为是两年的绿卡，今年的12月份需要换长期
绿卡，老公的工作不是很稳定。
另外就我自己的职业长远来看兴趣还是在政府工作，学校等的。不知道如果将来不打算
在retail发展得话，Walmart的经历经验会不会有用。 |

有的搬家事宜只能自己操心了, 预计2000刀的费用. 另外单位补贴医疗保险450$/月,如
果是他一个人参保,每月交110,还是剧差的保险, 但是不参加单位的集体医保,450刀他
也一分钱拿不到.正常吗? 我也在VA medical center找到RN的工作,但是还不知道医疗
保险的具体事宜.
每年要加10%的班,最起码200个小时,前40个小时是给补休, 后面160个小时没有问是不
是给1.5倍,以为是应该的就没有问,通常是?
整个老公找工作的过程我们和公司就多要了每年2000刀的工资,还有就是报销了第二次
面试的机票和酒店.

简述一下自己的背景，IT背景的硕士（欧洲），毕业以后转行会计，自学考试ACCA，但
是没全部考完就来美国了。在美国补了两门课，完全达到缅因州考CPA的要求了。经过
板上询问和自己研究，觉得做IT auditor入行对我来说可能比较有优势。
现在也决定申请明年秋入学的Master of Accounting Information Systems.原本是看
好一个学校的这个课程，结果刚得知这个项目被取消了。现在就剩下1或者2年会计项目
了。查了一下，别的类似其他的项目好像特别少，所以迷茫了。
我以前已经花了很多时间自学会计课程了，所以不想再花时间精力读个两年的课程，觉
得一年MIS的项目最适合我，可是现在一切都被打乱了。大家有没有什么好的课程可以
推荐给我，谢谢！ |

况，已经把不是干这个专业的都拉过来用了（比如我）。partner跟我说，她想重新振
作employee benefit plan group，所以欢迎任何level的人（上至manager，下至
experienced hire）。如果你之前没有做过benefit plan audit 也不要紧，只要有一
点点local firm auditing或者investment经验的accountant都可以。

考试报名花费：$50+$150+$150+$200 =550刀。顺便说一下CIA的网站不太好用，
organize的很不好，我花了点精力才注册上考试。我是学生，所以考试费比较便宜。
复习时间：三门一共用了30天。我有可能over prepared。每个part考完试之后立刻出
score report，如果过了report就只写”PASS”，我并不知道具体分数，所以我在准备
下一门的时候不敢掉以轻心，因为如果fail貌似要等3个月才能补考，所以我复习的时
候还是花了比较长的时间。复习part 1和2我各用了10天左右，复习part 3我用了6天，
每考完一个part我会休息一天。我的知识背景：商科，但是不是会计专业。
复习资料：这个CIA 2013年改革了，现在只有3门，我报名后很小农的到处找Gleim
17th edtion书和题库，没有找到免费下载版。最后我是从gleim那里买的Gleim 17th
edtion书和test prep，test prep就是题库的电子版。有了test prep我还觉得做题不

，regulation还因为成绩过期重考了一次。这次audit要是再考不过的话，真的要一头
撞死了。Audit真是我的梦魇，我重来没做过audit work，上学的时候又不好好学，两
门和audit有关的课都是B-。这次本来是想八月初考，题都做完一遍了，结果高中的死
党来美国培训，又跟他到处玩了一遍，等重新开始看书已经8月中旬了，我是做税的，
最近又变得特别忙，只好走马观花的复习了一遍。
Multiple Choices感觉做得不错。第一个testlet感觉有点难，不确定的题目大概有7个
，可能做的不太好，第二个testlet变得很容易，前几个题目都是一句话那种，而且一
眼就能看出答案的，到后面才出现了几个稍微复杂点的题。第三个testlet又变难了，
前两个题目快把屏幕占满了，吓了我一跳，不过后面还是有一些很简单的题的，虽然难
度有所上升，但都是我比较熟悉的知识点，所以感觉做的还行。第二个和第三个testle
遇到的不确定的题加在一起不超过6个，我估计第一testlet错了大概8个左右，第二个
