tried today in packed power groom runs at gunstock.
Awesome awesome ski for today's condition: short radius turn is easy with

各位高手由衷钦佩。看到Line Prophet 100 vs Mantra的那个贴，恨不得钻地洞里。如

。今天这算第一帖，很多行规和术语还没看懂。经常看到斑竹给包子，好事还是坏事？
肉包子还是菜包子？好像高手发言都是三言二语的，俺写一大篇，是不是违反规矩？不
过确实有问题向高手请教，包子还是窝头也管不了那么多了。
上周末去了趟Kirkwood。NN多年前去过一次，早就记不清楚啥样儿了。这次就跟第一次
一样，很新鲜。雪场人不多，不用排队。REI或者Sports Basement有卖$50/二张成人票
。所有周日小孩免费。一家四口花50块钱滑了一天，很过瘾。上周日还是最后一天可以
用当天的票钱用来买下年度的季票，外带免费buddy ticket和BBQ。Kirkwood雪场开到
五月一号。其实还有不少雪，但是人少雪场不赚钱，就关了。五月和六月份只能去
Squaw和Mammoth滑雪了。

I been a strong advocate of self drop feed. Instead if all the words I try
to explain it. Brad stine made it sense in 3 letters OPP.
Earlier we had a discussion about stance on the approach shot. It's not so
much so about the stance it's more about loading and weight transfer as you
hit. Load it like open stance but transfer forward and move forward so it
actually looks like a close stance.

《Brave》（2012）里五大三粗的部落首领爸爸一亮相，我们都说酷似《How to Train
Your Dragon》（2010）的首领老爸，有模仿之嫌。故事也有点差劲：台词首先浅白无
味；其次Merida讨得女巫灵药、把母后变成大熊虽属无心之过，但毫无歉疚地把所有责
任推给女巫，这不合常理。后面的英勇无畏抗父救母也故意夸张了冲突，情理显得牵强
。矛盾的冲突和发展都在套路之中，没有特别吸人之处。堪称亮点的一是巾帼小英
雄Merida的神奇箭术：
二是苏格兰背景、口音、神话传说和音乐。尤其那个汇聚各种命运转折的巨石阵
——对比cyfer贴过的世界各地之巨石阵，《Brave》显然借用了苏格兰的Callanish
Stones：
说来cyfer贴了18个巨石阵，其中十个集中在英国（包括苏格兰和威尔士）和爱尔兰，
为何此地独多？可惜《Brave》的摄影似乎不够大气，没有淋漓体现石阵的神秘威严气
氛。
然后看了一集Lego星战《The Empire Strikes Out》（2012），出乎意料地精彩搞笑，

为了迎接新星战，我们除了把1-6复习一遍，又扫完了图书馆的《Lego Star Wars》系
列DVD。最早拍的是《The Padawan Menace》（2011），讲Jedi Academy里一帮淘气的
娃娃学员Padawans，由Yoda带队、C-3PO和R2-D2协助，阴错阳差地和Sith lords斗智斗
勇。娃娃学员主角Ian即日后Harrison Ford扮演的英俊潇洒的Han，嘴唇是不是甚为性
感……：
Yoda为老不尊，被娃们嘲笑颠三倒四不会正常说话，气得七窍冒烟。Sith俘虏了C-3PO
和R2-D2，令他俩生死决斗，C-3PO哀叫我怎么下得了手和我最好的朋友打架呢，R2-D2
却已经兴高采烈地挥拳而上……C-3PO抱头鼠窜，气急败坏地说你小子等这一天已经等
了很久了吧……最令人动心的镜头是两个机器人在Anakin/Luke Skywalker的故乡、

多年前刚到美国留学的第一周，语言还没怎么过关的时候，有一节课小组作业展示，我
以为组员里面派出一个人做代表随便说说就OK了就什么都没准备，结果老师要求每个人
都要说，轮到我的时候场面十分尴尬，尴尬到回忆起来都想血溅当场，而且在我前面的
白妹balabala说得口若悬河眉飞色舞的, 和说完自我介绍『and… this is my design
』以后就当机在台上的我形成了鲜明的对比，这就是我的第一次presentation，最后在
老师和组员的follow和诱导下以石化的状态磕磕绊绊的说完了。这次非常尴尬的
presentation经历给我今后所有的presentation都打上了心理阴影，卡在系主任和她的
知名的业内好友都出席的presentation上过，在上百观众的某比赛的决赛presentation
上太紧张不小心用中文说了个特别清楚的”然后它就……”过，还有精神状态特别差的
一次和professor争论起来说不过她还结巴想不起来词的羞耻回忆，我曾经无数次的想
