show，不过都是些老爷车，我不是太感兴趣，还有音乐会什么的，不过都很一般。唯一很
好看的是balloon glow，星期五和星期六的晚上升气球，非常漂亮和壮观。还有个好玩的
就是balloon ride，就是太贵了，最低$175，要是爹妈来的话还可以去坐坐。

机场Solberg Airport举行，今年已经是第31届。这也是北美地区最大规模热气球节之
一，每天早晚二次的125个热气球升空，吸引了十多万名游客。每年除了放热气球外，
还有老少咸宜的音乐会以及各种娱乐活动、商业性或非营利性展出。
7月27日周六天气不错，我们一大早赶到目的地，现场已经人山人海，停车的队伍也排
了很长。映入眼帘的便是一个可供试乘的热气球，可以用短短几分钟体验一下乘坐热气
球升空的感觉。

San Diego聖地牙哥這個城市，在距離LA南方約二小時車程的位置，如果住南
一些，一個多小時就會到，所以是一個蠻方便去玩的地方，當天就可以來回沒問
題，一般想到這個城市，最有名的就是San Diego是美國Biotech生化科技產業
最集中的一個中心，在旅遊上Zoo動物園和Sea World海洋世界也極為著名，這
個城市本身也非常值得一遊。從LA過去，走5號往南，在途中還有一個Outlets，
剛好可以休息一下，就是Carlsbad Premium Outlets，在Palomar Airport Rd下往
北就會看到，隔壁是The Flower Fields，有荷蘭風車和美麗的花田，每年春季開
花時就會開放，Early March through early May。1887年落成的Neimans Restaurant
是維多利亞風格古建築，現改名為Ocean House是Carlsbad著名的懷舊餐館。

gas molecules inside. Therefore, no matter how tight you seal the end of the
balloon, gas molecules will permeate through the thin rubber wall from the
interior of the balloon over time and it will look like that the balloon is

Balloon》。两个片子的结尾都很让人伤心啊。《The Red Balloon》结尾是满载着男孩
的梦想的红气球被坏小孩射瘪，但城里所有的千千万万的各种颜色的气球都飞向男孩，
并把他带上天空。可谁都知道这在现实中是不可能的；这样的童话王国般的快乐，反而
更让人悲伤。《White Mane》的结尾是被追捕的白马带着小男孩跳进水里，游向远方的
小岛，那里没有人追捕他们，那里只有友好的马和小孩。我本来还觉得他们可以淌水过
岸，听到这句话，顿时觉得他们是死定了，所以电影才创造出这么个童话般的结尾来安
慰小孩。可这样就跟《The Red Balloon》一样，因为是illusion，所以更悲伤。要是
没有这句话，还没那么让人伤心呢。
我借的录像带正好是这两个短片在一起，音乐一听就觉得非常相似，声调都比较高，比
较悲哀脆弱，被现实一击即破似的。我查了一下，果然是同一个作曲家，叫Maurice
Leroux。
