1. 选民压制 (voter suppression).
选民压制的大致方式，就是在比较倾向于Bernie Sanders的选区少设甚至不设投票点，
同时大幅度裁剪此类投票点的工作人员，并且派人监督以保证极低的投票效率。比如在
亚利桑那州的Maricopa郡，投票点被削减了70%, 平均21000个选民才有一个投票点。有
选民顶着高温在投票点外排队排了5个小时才投上，而在投完之后，还没来得及上车，
民主党就已经宣布希拉里获胜了。
2. 修改选民注册信息 (voter registration tampering)
在民主党内初选的过程中，如果你是共和党员是没有投票权的。于是在倾向Bernie
Sanders的选区，有很多民主党员在去投票时，发现自己突然是共和党了。比如纽约的
Shally Berry, 她在投票时被工作人员告知其注册信息是共和党，并拒绝她投票。事后

如果系统里有你的选民登记信息，并且和你本人相符，选务工作人员会给你
一张printed Receipt,上面有你的姓名，地址，选民政号，选区号，凭这个receipt
去下面一个机器提取你的选票ballot，另一个工作人员会再核对你的姓名和出生年月日，
然后你才可以拿到自己的选票。
接着你可以去写票区写票，写完会给引导到另一个机器前面将选票逐张扫入，机器屏幕

是否填写合格。开票以手工开票为主，但会和机器读票相对。ballot箱一满，就会全封
闭，要等全部
投票完才开箱。
如果没有I D一样可以投票，只要有你的registration信息，但这个票只能是

不计入voter roll， verification pending， 当然你也可以选择今天不投，改天再去
。
今天反复核对这个过程，觉得作弊很难，取选票机器边上还有专人核对，更有挂牌的第
三者监视，

上一章写过了本世纪初洋基红袜响尾蛇交相辉映的那个时代，现在终于开始轮到写我最
熟悉的这批当代牛投们了。。。SI曾评选过一个MLB在00-09年间的all-decade team，
结果深与我心有戚戚焉--五位rotation投手就是我上一章写过的那三位大牛Pedro，
Johnson，Schilling，再加上新生代的两位翘楚Halladay & Santana。的确，如果要写
这个世纪以来最好的投手们，我心里大概有一个六七个人的名单，其中Doc本来就是排
在第一位的，他是我心目中这个时代的顶尖投手的代表，是ace of the aces，而现在
他的去世更坚定了我要用专门的一章来dedicate给他的想法，就像其他爱他的人用
youtube上的tribute videos来纪念他一样，希望能够向这位在我熟悉棒球的年代最稳

猫阿狗都能当上总统候选人过个瘾。其实不然，美国总统选举不是联邦普选，而是以州

让第三党候选人分离选票，还会同室操戈，对簿公堂。
第二个问题，谁能投票。18岁以上公民？是也不是，各州都有规定，剥夺某些重罪犯的
投票权。统计表明罪犯倾向于投某一政党，所以议会和法院又有投票权之争，一个党希
