上写: local calls only, no long distance,no overseas.
我不仅哑然失笑,谁会用他的电话打overseas呢
结果一问他,他说80年代末,一个非洲老黑找他修车,说是自己家里有人呜呼了,
要打电话回去,结果丫竟然用mr. bank的电话打回非洲去了,老bank
等phone bill一来,傻了,所以就有了那个note的由来.
今天老bank正给我修车,结果有人给他打电话,听起来和他关系不错,我以为是他儿子,
后来一问他,原来是他的战友,1944年,他和该哥们一起当飞行员,结果被德国人
击落了,双双被俘,幸好,美军很快就杀来了,把他们救了.老bank说德国人也没怎么虐待他
就是没吃没喝,结果他那一段瘦了30lbs.
老bank的邻居也是美国离休革命老干部,原来是navy的,我今儿个也和他聊了聊. |

另外：

1. This one is with the wholesale banking(IB department), they need CS guys.
2. It is with commercial banking(retail banking), they require a degree in
any quantitative field.
Is it good to appy both of them???
The position with the IB is about technology (their requriement is quite
comprehensive) while the one with commercial banking is aboutrisk managemnet
modeling.

两天打电话说不能批准（也就是被拒）。打电话要求reconsideration，一开始说mail
收到邀请信，觉得有两张US Bank Cash+也不错，因为可以有更多不同的5% category。
估计把Credit Analyst想问的都说完了，他立刻回应道会reconsider，过两天会给结果
。昨天晚上登录US Bank帐号发现多了一张信用卡帐号，虽然没说是什么卡，但是可以
选择5% category，应该就是Cash+了。
再看reddit的信息，说US Bank has been known to allow people to have more than
one card of the same product. Since this card has good MS potential, people
like and have been approved for 2 open US Bank Cash+ cards at once.也就是说

我只有第一篇的备份，见下面。
第二篇，补充了另一家公司Stemcyte,我们最后用的也是那家。原因是：
1。这家技术口碑很好，不是靠marketing,所以一开始差点忽略了
2。rep不trash竞争对手，交谈很舒服
3。discount straight forward,最后是$1400。你可以告诉rep，你们在学校从事stem
cell related research, 就可以拿到medical professional discount, 不用像另外两
家那样要证明什么的。

shareholders in the third quarter, beating analysts' expectations, though
the results were largely driven by one-time gains, from accounting changes
to asset sales.

end up benefitting from the turmoil across the Atlantic, analyst Dick Bove
said.

cents beating analysts' estimates.

Bank of America Corporation today reported net income of $653 million, or $0
.03 per diluted share, for the first quarter of 2012. Revenue, net of
interest expense, on a fully taxable-equivalent (FTE)1 basis was $22.5
billion, including negative valuation adjustments related to changes in the
company’s credit spreads of $4.8 billion pretax, or $0.28 a share.

the first-ever global deal on the minimum reserves of cash and other assets
all banks must hold.

4S RANCH — A bank in 4S Ranch was robbed Thursday afternoon, sheriff’s Lt.
Mario Zermeno said.
The robbery was reported at 3:07 p.m. at the Wells Fargo Bank on Craftsman
Way near Town Square Parkway and Rancho Bernardo Road, Zermeno said.
