发帖数: 829 | 5 星期二从银行回来看到ONLINE ACCOUNT有显示PENDING 的 CREDIT（那张CHECK).
TELLER 之前告知需要大约一个BUSINESS DAY可以从 PENDING 变成 实质的AVAILABLE
BALANCE。
今天一看，吓一跳，因为昨天的那些PENDING NUMBER， 全不见了，CHECKING, SAVING,
所有的ACCOUNT一个一个搜，就象从来没有发生过DEPOSIT一样。
每月初薪水的DIRECT DEPOSIT也会PENDING一天，但是我都可以看得到，心里有数。
平日都是DEPOSIT 这里的BANK先显示增加的BALANCE,然后才是WITHDRAWAL的BANK出现
DECREASE,现在好，那边已经减了，这里BANK OF AMERICA 还没加，反而就象从来没发
生过这个TRANSACTION 似的。
心里堵的慌！！ |

citi bank的card挂在同一个use ID下呀。citi bank的clerk说不可以，但我觉得自己
的两个账户还要分开登录很麻烦。国内的招行，个人有多少个账户都可以挂在同一个名
字下的呀。

that is closest to you.
Most banks charge fees if you withdraw money from their ATM while not being
their member. The only exception I know is the Fidelity mySmart Cash
Checking account. You can withdraw money from any ATM with "VISA" (or "LINK"
?) logo whatever bank it belongs to. The charge will be reimbursed to you
from Fidelity. Fidelity is not FDIC insured. But it is huge with very low

Go stand on the street. Ask the next 20 people who walk by, whether they
think it's normal to open carry a gun into a bank. If 1 person agrees it's
normal, then I'll concede I was wrong.
Or if you think it's such a good idea, why don't you do it yourself? Open
carry in a bank, and post it on youtube for me to see. But we all know you
won't.

teller a note saying "Gun." The teller thought he was robbing the bank, and
called police.
Very dumb on Gursky's part. And an important piece of fact conveniently left
out by a pro-gun news source so to make it seem that he was arrested for
not knowing open carry laws. And for those who insist open carrying in a
bank is a good idea. I strongly advise you to lead by example. |

beginning this dec., all u.s. banks are required to enforce UIGEA. many
banks sent this kind of emails to notify their customers, just to cover
their ass, no big deal.
the key word here is "knowingly accepting", and this is the most difficult (
if not impossible) part to implement UIGEA, how could a bank know the
deposit is from a poker site? since they all use some kinds of middle man
processors.

investment，我觉得法学院学的东西对投行一点用也没有，Investment banker都是
salesman mentality，没有risk averse,和律师感觉很不一样，而且好像很少有中国人在投行里面作M&A,在律所里面作M&A的很多，但是好像投行的很少做M&A or real estate，可能是因为大部分NY investment banks 客户都是欧美的公司
从律所去投行大部分都是作GC，直接作investment banking的不多，而且Investment
banking 很累，从associate做起的话，稍微岁数大一点可能就顶不住，经常连几天不
