当英王约翰在十三世纪初即位之后，一连串的事件却令英格兰的封建贵族起来反抗他，
并要求限制绝对的王权。
当时英王约翰受到的压力来自三方面：
是他夺得王位的手法遭人非议，前任英王狮心王理查在1199年死后无子，出现两名继承
人，即理查的侄子亚瑟，和理查的弟弟约翰。约翰将他的对手，亦即他的侄子亚瑟一世
囚禁，之后亚瑟便失去音讯。很多人认为约翰是暗杀了他的亲人以取得王位；

的”的“禁药”的信息，今天又曝光了10名美国运动员，包括里约奥运会药检阳性的女
子铅球冠军卡特、游泳冠军巴克尔、美国网球运动员马泰克等。
“黑客门”事件愈演愈烈。这个黑客组织日前在其网站上表示，参加奥运会的美国
运动员表现不错，但其间却充满不公平的行为，因为他们在不同年份、在世界反兴奋剂
机构（WADA）的允许下使用了“用于治疗目的”的“禁药”。世界反兴奋剂机构则迅速
发表声明对此予以谴责，称他们的数据库系统的确遭到黑客入侵，而该黑客组织是来自

For the second week in a row an NFL player has senselessly died in an off-
the-field incident. Dallas Cowboys linebacker Jerry Brown was killed while
