来美中国人多数在那些高科技公司工作.我们这里做护士的不占多数.(非法移民除外).
我个人感觉那些公司的人多数教育背景比较高,不少很国际化.所以面对这种barrier比
起在医院工作的我们容易对付些.
东西两岸少数民族众多,其实对我们来说比较有利.可是很多州医院护士还是以白人为主
.记不清哪本书上统计:全美护士caucasian占90%+.
我个人:上学全班只我一亚洲人.其它全白.和同学除课堂外没什么有效的交流.大家兴趣
实在不同,没感觉.
工作:我所在科室除我外,全白.我的工作接近casual,又是实习生,和同事相处也是面熟,
聊起天没共同语言,很难溶进去.
所以,如果正式工作了,同事都是清一色白人的话,如果还这样,对前途还是有影响的.因
为人际关系哪都存在.如果我们形单影之,很容易被忽略.(工作在ethnic diversity的地
方应该好很多)
美国人的文化是非常aggressive的.我们中国长大的人很难也做到和他们一样的
aggrssive.
language barrier:英语再好,俚语我们是不明白的.口音也影响人和人的距离.

想用公式解来验证一下MC的结果，但公式解得是不含参与率的barrier options，请问如果加上参与率，公式该怎么改一下呢？（这个公式解是参照Paul Wilmott的书，虽然本人不知怎么得来的）。
公式打不进来，我放在附件word里了。
小弟学习quant刚起步，谢谢各位！
简单说一下：
无风险收益率为2.25%
1. 结算日前发生“触发事件”(即挂钩标的之官方收市价 > 开始价格的150％)：到期日的投资收益率2.25％。

对于这个 UpIn 的 barrier option
replication的方法就是当 S=H 的时候 买payoff 为 f^H(S_T) 的option
然后由最后那个公式
St=H 的时候 买payoff 为 f^H(S_T) 的option
等价于 St=H 的时候 买 payoff 为 (S_T / H )^r * f^H( H^2 / S_T ) 的 option
又注意到 要让 f^H( H^2 / S_T ) != 0 等价于 S_T > H (类似reflecting principle
, 其实就是把 option in the money 的 path 翻折上去了)
所以 St=H 的时候 买 payoff 为 (S_T / H )^r * f^H( H^2 / S_T ) 的 option
等价于一开始就买 payoff 为 (S_T / H )^r * f^H( H^2 / S_T ) 的 option
因为这个option end in the money的话 St一定会碰到barrier的. |

barrier问题。由于英语口语，听力的提高是个长期的过程，需要找些可以快速提高英
语教学的方法。我自己觉得以下几点可能有帮助：
1。说慢一点，每个词都吐清楚；
2。多练习几遍，包括数学题，自己演示以下每一步推导怎么说；
3。多板书，尤其是关键词；
4。多和学生交流，让他们习惯自己的口音
等等

DIY的原理容易,主要是在阁楼空间操作比较难,要注意:
1)不要落脚在两个量之间的保温层上,会踩破的;
2)带好口罩手套,阁楼空间灰尘木屑多,时间长了容易咳嗽;
3)最好要两三个人一起做,一个人要裁剪材料还要去贴,跑来跑去又累又慢.
就这些了.
barrier要买28-29lb/1000sqft,比较结实.
我知道的性价比高的是$118+tax,free shipping，

cushion, then you can use paper. Moisture barrier is more needed for
hardwood floor. My experience is you do need to take baseboard off for
better result. |

如果楼梯也想换成地板的话，是用Laminate stair nose+laminate flooring好呢，还
是直接用Wood floor stair nose?

concrete sealer/moisture barrier between the engineered wood floor.
But a google search on lumber liquidor/lowes indicate I should be free of
sealer
Subfloors must be clean and free of dirt, curing compounds, sealers, drywall
mud, paint, wax, grease, urethane, or other materials that may affect the
integrity of the flooring material or adhesives used to install the flooring

如果一个app完全用parse或者类似的框架能搞定，我肯定碰都不会去碰。因为我能做别
人也能做，最后拼的就是美工，marketing啥的，我没有任何优势。我搞点有技术含量
的，一般人做不了，有人想要这个功能来找我，我就可以开高价。虽然赚不了大钱，但
也是赚的稳稳的。用parse做的app每月能产出足够的钱支持一个full time的怕是比例
非常低吧。 |

大部分人同意的做法:
现在买1/100只股票,stoppingtime的时候,payoff一样.所以定价应该是80*1/100=$0.8.
咋看起来没问题.
那问个问题哈,如果我今天replication的portfolio是1/50股票-$1呢,payoff还是一样.
那这个portfolio的定价是0.6.当然你还可以制造出无数个不同的replication的
portfolio.也就是market不是non-arbitrage的,除非..除非你多给点条件..
加一个条件:
