发现Sony 50-60美元的就很接近Bose 150-200美元的了，只是在重低音上，Sony虽然音
量也大，但比较发散，而Bose的重低音有一种tight的感觉，感觉更爽。然后Sony的不
能换线，而Bose的可以换线。毕竟还是一分价钱一分货。
我以前拥有过100美元的Sennheiser，感觉几乎和这次150美元的Bose一样，重低音也很
tight。不过这次在Best Buy没有找到Sennheiser的。
然后研究了一下黑人喜欢的Beats。这个品牌从100美元到300美元的型号在Best Buy都
有展示，但看来太热门了，200-300美元的展示型号都被顾客弄坏了，我只听了100美元
的型号，感觉是：低音比Sony 50-60美元的更强大，但也更发散，没有Bose和

了(我师兄的还只是nominated for BPA)，然后无RFE过。 我申请的时候就收到了BPA(
我是最后的BPA)的 RFE,内容和你是一样的。 所以我特
意在RFE的时候再次提供了另外一封co-chair的RL（其中一个co-chair在首次提交的时
候已经用过）, 来证明excellence。 因为通常会议有best student paper award和
best paper award 两种，你在信里再强调一下，selection pool是在这个领域里面工
作的所有的researchers, scientists,而非只有students or early career
professionals. 当然既然你有bpa，那么你的publication也不
应该差，再好好整理材料，不会有问题的。bless!

如果有时间，更在乎省点钱：
（1）先去下courts mega store (IKEA) 那个店，看看并确定你想要的各种电器的型号
。
（2）再分别找到住家附近的best denki, harvey norman，去查看，并找sales询问你
看中的电器的价格。 这样你就对这些电器的fair value有个大概的估计了。
（3）电器越迟买越便宜。在你必须买的时候，首先看expo有没有show（从星期六的报
纸看）, 如果没有，就去你方便的上述店铺之一，（这些店铺以我看来最公道的是best
denki, 最黑的是gain city, 其次黑的是harvey norman。 audio house名声很差，我
没敢碰）然后跟sales大胆的要求他们给你你曾经看到的最低的价格（你也可以夸张点
），一般他们会match你。如果价格搞不太下来，就尽量争取要多些free gift. 对了，
还有个店叫做mega discount store，你可以在网络上查到号码，去电话询问你感兴趣
的model的价格。

不过上周imm best要装修做renovation sale，好多东西巨便宜啊，40寸lcd电视才500
多啊。比我几个月前买的时候的价钱（也是promotion）便宜了一百多。。。
其他东西也好多很便宜的。不知道现在还在不在sale。

这个是美国饮食行业最出名的urbanspoon评出来的，应该比某个人评出来要公正些。
想想就知道，就算每顿在外边吃，单个人一年也最多吃5，600家饭店，这里面选出100

最后只剩下7 players. 来了一个小插曲。 一位60多岁的老太太，不知是因为太激动还
是打的时间太长了（比赛从中午已经打了7个小时，中途只有3个15分钟的休息）,突然
觉得太热，把外衣脱了。 大家还好一个拿这开玩笑。 突然老太太说头晕，开始抽泣起
来。大家都惊呆了。最后医务人员来了，做了一系列检查和处理之后，待老太太稍稍平
息下来，把她抬走了。 她的筹码当然就自动blind了。 接着又有一人被淘汰。剩下5人
（6 players) 的时候，我的筹码大概第3. 但是一个关键pot， QQ 在SB call BTN's
AK all in. 最后BTN hit 到K。 这把之后我就只有1.5个BB。 老太太还有0.5BB。
还好最后只有0.5BB时候熬到老太太先被blind out。
